January 15, 200917 yr So heres my story ; There is a girl I really love , but really really , not just to play with . And I was talking to her on msn and she said that there is a boy that loves her , and he tried to kiss her alot , but she's doesn't feel much at all , so i said : "why don't you take him" (I know , seems stupid to say in my situation but yeah ..) then she answered : "I feel something for someone else" , Me: "OK" , then i asked her what she was going to do friday and she was like :" I'm going to ice skate on friday 'cus the boy who loves me is comming , he asked me out , just to chill" , then she said : "why don't you come and see his face" I was thinking : "oh jeez no , I don't want to see them kissing" and I said : "ok , i'll call some friends" then after talking about something else ; Me : "Why don't you just kiss the boy and mess with him" ; then she : 'Cus the person I really love is there then , and I don't want him to see that" Could the person be me ? 'Cus I really don't want to see her with someone else.. what do you think at all She's so cute =P~ The two things I've come to a conclusion about this scenario are: 1. She is immature. She's complaining about a guy trying to kiss her when she doesn't like him and then leading him on by going ice skating with him. 2. Yes the person could be you. But is she just leading you on too? Cute... but immature nevertheless. The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.
January 15, 200917 yr I hate girls that drop stupid hints like that. Even if they're hot, I won't do more than a date or two with them. Bugs the crap outta me. Unfortunately, I'm in high school, so that's most girls. Hanging out with my lady next week. We get President's Day off. I didn't know. I got really excited, and now my math teacher thinks I'm a pothead. Also, "cute" and your story don't add up to really really love. Maybe half a really. Maybe you rea love her. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

January 16, 200917 yr [hide=Returned3]I have been leaving obvious hints to the girl that I like lately. There was one time where we both were helping a teacher carry her stuff back into her office, when she reached I passed the stuff to the teacher and lift the sling (The girl was carrying a sling bag for the teacher) off her arm so that it was free to move out. Then there was when I was supposed to mark names of those who didn't bring a certain item. Well my crush didn't and I only walked past her without marking her name and her friend exclaimed "Wow, he didn't even mark your name down". Today, we were in chemistry doing some experiments (Different partners) and we were to line and and collect 0.3g of some power to do so and repeat until we succeed. I'm not your fastest student in class so I would have to wait in line where I would yell "Faster, we don't have much time etc." Only when my crush was before me, I just remained silent for a good 20+ seconds til she left and a friend of mine said "Wow, what a gentleman!" So my question is, am I doing the right thing such that I am advancing a step forward or does this only make me look desperate? I have been leaving obvious hints to the girl that I like lately. Your best bet is to simply go up to her and either ask her out, know her more personally better or be straght forward and say Will you go out with me? though option 1 and 2 sound better. Trust me, i know how hard it can be to say it straight up, but even in getting a "no" or "sorry im taken" I at least know i made an effort, and if she says yes then full steam ahead! but some advice: dont be too (i suppose the term is) Kiss Arsery, though it is flattering, it doesnt fully show the extent of your true self, and if you realy need to stalk, use a shrub. : Popoto.~<3
January 16, 200917 yr And because i like pointing out the obvious, Reb means grow some balls. No, he means play some poker. Dur. Anyways, yeah, that'd probably work. January 17, 200917 yr I've been posting a lot more problems than advice recently :/ Sorry guys, I'll help out when I can My circle of friends is tearing at the seems at the moment. Long story short, there was a break up between a good friend of my girlfriend, and some guy from upstate. They were real close and she was all obsessive over him, and that's basically what pushed him away (here's the twist of advice: do not pressure your mate into staying with you or loving you - you will fail and be miserable). I ask advice in that her break up is causing our whole circle of friends to fight over who was right and how we should all resolve the issue. Her life just got more or less shattered, and my girlfriend and another of her friends keep yelling at the other girl (the dunped one) and I really don't think it's helping. All the guys in the group say to just leave her be and she'll heal on her own. I ask the advice of this thread in search of another opinion. Extra details: It was pretty much her fault that he dumped her. She was being very immature/obsessive/clingy and what not, and he just couldnt put up with it. She is under the impression that he'll come back to her, which everyone else knows wont happen. My question is of two things: What can I do for her? and How do all ya'll get over devastating relationship endings? Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. She is under the impression that he'll come back to her, which everyone else knows wont happen. My question is of two things: What can I do for her? and How do all ya'll get over devastating relationship endings? Well that one is simple. What happened in their relationship, stays in their relationship. Anyone who tries to get involved or blame people or fight with people are being stupid. I'd tell your girlfriend that it's none of her business and to please concentrate on her own relationship with you. Other people's issues don't belong to her so she should stop trying to treat them as such. Extra details? WHO CARES! :P It's not your relationship. What can you do for her? Convince your circle of friends that by staying out of their argument that it doesn't make them any less of a friend. It's nobodies business but theirs. My girlfriend complains to me all the time about her boyfriend but I listen, be there for her, give her advice and leave my judgmental shoes at the front door. I never agree with insults about the other party being complained about as a rule of thumb when I give my friends advice. What happens if they get back together? You've just put a target on your forehead. I need to take myself away from their issues, not get involved and have the same opinion of him that I held before she even walked through the door to complain about him. I don't know him, I don't know his side of the story and there are always THREE sides to a story, your side, their side and the truth lies somewhere in the middle. But seriously pull your girlfriend to one side and ask her to settle down. She's making a scene. Explain to her that she may be close to the guy and that's why she hears all these bad things. When you think about it, your best friend always comes to YOU for a [bleep]ing session about their partner (and you usually only hear about the horrible things, not the good things) and the wrong thing to do is to come to a negative conclusion about the other person. That person trusts YOU with hearing about the negative qualities that are happening at the moment because you're their best friend. It is SO NORMAL to only hear of bad things about your good friends partners. Just be aware that you're not going to hear of most of the good things. When I was pregnant with my son, my partners best friend had a lot to say about me. I had to sit him down, ask him to shut his damn mouth for a second and point out all the positive things that I have brought to our relationship and explain how Brent only complains to him because he trusts him to hear about those sorts of things. He never once heard about the horrible things he had done to me. Once I told him absolutely everything, he couldn't talk to me without his every second word being "sorry". I taught him a very valuable lesson about hearing half truths and being the best friend. Similar situation, my partners good friend Kylie complains to him all the time about her fiance Pete. I caught Brent out, saying he was a jerk, doesn't treat her right, has no idea why she's still with him, he should leave her and I had to quietly remind him about what being the best friend was all about (being the person who is trusted enough to only hear the negative things). The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.
January 18, 200917 yr Author Well, I'm back from camp. We had a day where anyone could come up to the front and tell of some of their life experiences and such. Well, the one girl I fancy had stepped up to tell us of her parents' relationship problems and her own struggle with depression. It was a tad emotional. Okay, it was quite emotional. So then next I stepped up and did the whole speech about how I was pulled off the street because she had hooked me on to RuneScape. At first this sounded strange, as I tried telling it with a bit of humor, and alas, I got some laughs out of it. Then I came to the point; she had changed my life by one simple act. Imagine how many other lives she has changed, or everyone else has by simple little things like that. I hope she feels better about herself now. :? Oh, and I finally got around to giving her that white trench coat. It had better fit her... :x IRC Nick: Hiroki | 99 Agility | Max Quest Points | 138 CombatBandos drops: 20 Hilt | 22 Chestplate | 21 Tassets | 14 Boots

January 18, 200917 yr Hi. I came here because I usually browse this site's forums but usually don't login/post. now onto the point my friends aren't much help with me deciding this, since they'll just tell me "go for it". I told them I liked a certain girl, problem is nowthey want me to ask her out. Now, such a thing wouldn't be much of a problem for me, under normal circumstances. These aren't normal circumstances at least I don't consider/think them to be. The person I said I have no contact with, and have rarely talked to.(heh seems I got myself in a situation I want out of) My friends want me to ask but I just remain undecided on it.(They and this won't stop annoying me as well) I don't know, I just find/think something is wrong with asking someone you haven't talked to. Am I right? What would someone suggest?
January 18, 200917 yr I think it's easier to ask out someone you have next to no contact with on a daily basis. Leaves out a lot of awkwardness if things turn sour. GO FOR IT. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
January 18, 200917 yr Da_Latios: Awh, that's so sweet, she'll def. feel better. Oh, and nice job with the trench coat. EXToL: Depends on how much of a stranger you are to her.. did you speak to her once..? Because.. as I will explain in my story, it's kinda creepy and weird being asked out by someone you had just met 10 minutes ago and spoke to once imo. [hide=Longish Story]I went to this big event/concert thing with my friends on New Years and I was dancing with my friends at the front. I remember seeing a bunch of guys around my age running up to the front and started moshing like crazy, which made me laugh, especially when they were told to leave by security. Somehow me and my friends ended up talking to the group of guys and they told us that they were all a year below us at school (which made me feel uncomfortable because for some reason). My friend asked me to get one of their numbers for her, so I did, then I shook their hands for getting told to leave by security and that was about it; I went back to dancing. 1 minute before midnight the guy (We'll call him 'X') who I got the number from asked me out which was kinda creepy (he popped out of no where and whispered in my ear) and he left me a bit confused, but I said no. My friend ended up contacting X and even found him on this social network we all use, so I thought I'd be polite and talk to him. He started telling me about himself and how he was disappointed that I said no and stuff, which I think was meant to make me sympathise for him? But anyways, me and my friends went to the movies, and for some reason I thought I'd invite him. >_> So I did, and I sat next to my female friends. I kept laughing/smirking at the unintentionally funny movie, and my other friend kept hitting me, so I thought I'd move if I was annoying her so much. -.- I isolated myself from everyone else and then I discovered that I could lie on 3 seats at once if I put the arm rest up. So I moved over and ended up lying on 3 seats at once next to X, with my head rested on the arm rest or else I wouldn't have seen the movie. He put his arm on the arm rest and he started touching my hair which made me go , so I moved my head; but his hand seemed to follow. Then he tried to put his arm around me and I shuddered and then he tried to put his hand over my nose/mouth, but he moved it away quickly. o_O But other than that, he was fine and he was fun to hang out with after the movie. I've been talking to X on MSN, and he won't stop hitting on me. :wall: I asked him why he keeps hitting on me, and he said "because". He tried to make me sympathise with him by saying he's never had a girlfriend before, never [bleep]ed anyone (wtf, he's only 14, it's not even legal yet) and that he wants "in" with the whole crowd or something and basically said he'd pretty much [bleep] anyone (I hope this doesn't include me). He's a really funny/nice guy to talk to, so I want to keep him as a friend. But my problem is that I have a feeling I'm leading him on because he seems to like me more and more everytime I talk to him. #-o I have a hard time telling people straightup "No", because I don't want to be rude/hurt anyone's feelings. January 18, 200917 yr Get to know her so you do have some sort of contact with her. Or your friends are right "just go for it" you're never going to be with her unless you make some kind of advancement and work towards the goal. As for your friends constantly harassing you, it's not going to make your decision any easier. Tell them to back off. Although seeing as they're peer pressuring you, it wouldn't surprise me if one of them doesn't go and talk to her themselves to make things a little more interesting lol it might work in your favor and it might not. You could also try the whole sending your friend up to her and asking her what she thinks about you. If she doesn't like you then it was a joke, if she does then it just makes you asking her out easier. Immature high school approach but it works and gets results. The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.
January 18, 200917 yr Wongtong: Tell him that you think he's nice and w/e, but you aren't looking for a boy friend at the moment. Or tell him that you like him as a friend only and don't won't to take it further. Either of those will work, but the first is a nicer way of doing it. EXToL: Make an effort to talk to her. Even if it involves just saying hi in corridor when you walk past her or something. Popping the question when she hardly knows you will lead to rejection. Try and hang out with her at least once if you can, so she knows somethinga about you. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
January 18, 200917 yr Author EXToL: Basically what everyone else said. Get to know her more. Offer to help with anything, even if it's something you hate doing. Wongtong: Tell him that he's going waaaaaaay over the top with this. At his age, he shouldn't even be considering sex. Tell him you know a really hot 16-year-old(me) who hasn't even had a girlfriend. January 19, 200917 yr Ok guys, I followed your advices and took a bold step forward and talked to my crush. She said that she wasn't interested in relationships and do not plan to be in 1 until after she graduates Polytechnic, which is basically 3 years away. So yea, that got me sad for a good few hours before I went to Judo practice and got cheered up. Life sucks, I nearly hit depression earlier today. Need consoling advices.. 00:00:0500:00:0400:00:0300:00:0200:00:0100:00:00 Break the Walls down!
