August 2, 200817 yr not going to say much, but after a good amount of kills, not even full invent of food. They are good crimsons for those who cannot barrage, burst, waterfiend, and hate slaying.
August 4, 200817 yr About 10 monks, lvl 102, around 93 without, and I was using my leech (76). Got a horrible drop rate, ussually I get more, but then again, I was after the law runes.
August 5, 200817 yr My guide I wrote on this was lost in the roll-back. This is a good guide. I don't reccomend this for pures. i did this on my 1 def pure and maybe got 5 solo kills per load of salmon/trout. I was 60 attack and 76 strength as well. Might want to capitalize the "g" on "guide" as well as "b" in "big" and "boys". Remove the "1000+ Views!" There is no point for that. Edit: Corrections I think you should do: Here is a link to it's Bestiary page: http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?r ... er_id=1124 Post feedback on how well you like this guide! It should be more like this: Cockroach Soldier Bestiary Page use this code: [url=http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?r%20...%20er_id=1124]Cockroach Soldier Bestiary Page[/url] Things like: Cons:If you try to run away they will hit you with a weak range attack that hits up to 10-11. hp! You should put a space in between "Cons:" and "If" Your guide is jumbled together. Please set-up some type of format. ie: Table of Contents: [1] - Thing 1 [2] - Thing 2 etc. Spell out things like "hp" use Hit Points Overall nice guide: 7/10 ~~baller [software Engineer] - [Ability Bar Suggestion] - [Gaming Enthusiast]
August 5, 200817 yr isnt their secondary attack a mage attack? 100% F2P85 Mining achieved on Dec 4, 200785 Smithing achieved on May 28, 2009
August 5, 200817 yr isnt their secondary attack a mage attack? It's range, me and a friend messed around with "duo" gears, Their long range attack cant hit through armour, so a Ranged attack.
August 12, 200817 yr hey i kill these things at lvl 65 they easy i can kill bout 10-20 roaches a load and make bout 10k per load  http://forum.tip.it/topic/325514-bonez899s-journey-to-an-eventual-max/ My blog of progress on Runescape.
August 12, 200817 yr ok 3 problems with ur guide 1. with swordfish u can lose some money if u dont get a good drop 2. a rune scimmy would be better bcuz its faster hits and i average more kills with 1 3. u didnt explain tht they have to do the quiz upstairs to get in there Effigies: 5 draconic visage: 1
August 23, 200817 yr Protip: You can talk to the monks in the monestary, for those who are rechraging their prayer, and get them to heal you. Generally less walk then prayer and bank, and it's free Otherwise, fix spelling and try to avoid abbreviations.
August 23, 200817 yr Great guide, 8/10! I usually go down there with a friend or two with lootshare on, makes stuff a lot faster and I already got 3 sq shields and a scimmy today
August 26, 200817 yr Very poor job. You enter the dungeon through the jail when the rift is much faster. You use a rune battleaxe when a rune scimitar is far superior. Your level requirement is extremely vague (NEVER use combat levels for requirements) and not high enough (60 combat isn't enough to kill these effectively). You don't tell us how long the trips last, on average, nor how many cockroaches you can kill per trip. And you use SWORDFISH, for Pete's sake. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
August 26, 200817 yr yes i tryed it with rune baxe and it dosen't give a good trip i can get more with rune scimmy and swords are an outrage u have to get a rune sq sheild every trip to pay for them. also u should use 56's till at least 70 combat just got it yesterday. http://forum.tip.it/topic/325514-bonez899s-journey-to-an-eventual-max/ My blog of progress on Runescape.
August 27, 200817 yr yes i tryed it with rune baxe and it dosen't give a good trip i can get more with rune scimmy and swords are an outrage u have to get a rune sq sheild every trip to pay for them. also u should use 56's till at least 70 combat just got it yesterday. Combat level is not a good indicator of how strong your character is. On the Tip.it combat level calculator I typed in 41 attack, 46 strength, 37 defence, 99 prayer, 17 summoning, 80 hp, 27 mage, and 43 range, and it came out as level 71. There's no way a player like that could fight cockroach soldiers effectively. I'd say that you should have at least 60 attack and defence, and a good strength level (cockroaches hit hard and have high defence, so strength isn't as important as attack and defence). August 27, 200817 yr I've never been there before, could you like, make a map with directions on how to get to which ones you should be killing? 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.
August 27, 200817 yr yes i guess would u say 60 in all would be a good lvl to fight them at http://forum.tip.it/topic/325514-bonez899s-journey-to-an-eventual-max/ My blog of progress on Runescape.
September 14, 200817 yr Author Good guide : But watch your spullen (spelling) Yeah, my spelling has improved over the last month,er atleast online... thanks for the positive feeedback!
September 18, 200817 yr idk, i have 71 combat with a mix, fight melee with 62 attack, 58 strength, and 52 defence, and with a stock of 26 stews, i kill about 9 or 10 a trip without prayer. as for drops...lets just say i once came out killing 10 and got 50 gp  and once i came out with about 50k  It is not the great who are strong, but the strong who are great--Albel Nox
October 4, 200817 yr Author Sorry to hear that on your 50gp trip, these things really do have a random amount of money you can get in a trip.
October 4, 200817 yr Put it this way, you could maybe go after lobbies or tuna. We should euthanize anyone who lacks the capability to contribute to society in any way. Please don't elect this man for president in 2012
October 4, 200817 yr Sorry to hear that on your 50gp trip, these things really do have a random amount of money you can get in a trip. In order to have a real idea of how much money they make you'll have to figure out the average amount you make per trip. This will require testing. EDIT: You're still using swordfish.... Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
October 4, 200817 yr Rune scimitar + gauntlets and zerker works very good. Also anchovy pizzas are much better in f2p than swordies. It's great you know what you're talking about rustiod. Everything you've said is 100% accurate a true. That being said...your a [bleep]ing [bleep] douchebag, and none of your advice will ever (or should ever) be taken seriously because of it.disregard good advice because the giver is a douche THAT MAKES YOU A BETTER PERSON
October 5, 200817 yr Also anchovy pizzas are much better in f2p than swordies. Why the heck does everyone use expensive food for training? Lobbies, swordfish, pizzas, etc. I always use salmon or tuna, unless I'm fighting in a very remote location (far from a bank) in which case I use a mix of plain pizzas and tuna. And cockroach soldiers are NOT in a remote location, less than a minute away from Edgeville bank. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
October 8, 200817 yr I dunno, imo this guide is kinda... well pretty bad really. Wasteful food, wrong weapon/amulet selection, saying that its fast exp, when its really not since they have high defence. Basically all you said was "Kill these guys they give you good stuf" and thats about it. Nothing was good about this guide, I don't know why people are saying otherwise... you had a few pictures I guess? 1543 Skill total, 100% F2P
October 13, 200817 yr About money you are off with finshing iget normally around 30-40k but preety oiften get up to 70k Just try to get Membership, the armour and weapons along with extra drops nets you about 100-200k per trip. : And yeah, try to expand on some of the weapons/amulets/food etc. Retired Crew Member | Retired RuneScape Player
