Last year I was walking back from my drum lessons and I had to cross the road. The couple in front of me crossed and I decided to aswell. Bang! I woke up in hospital with broken leg :cry:.

2 or 3 winters back, me and one of my buds decided it'd b awesome to both go on the same small sled on the steepest, bumpiest hills in my town. If it wasn't for that god damn dip in the end of the hill. When we hit the dip at the end, we were all over the place, literally. At one point during the fall, my right knee passed my left cheek. After about 20 seconds of rolling everywhere, I couldn't get back up, so I had my bud run to the nearby old dude retirement place thingies. In the end, thedoctor said i was LITERALLY 1 milimeter away from death. I fractured a vertebrae in my neck, and a milimeter longer of a crack would have killed me. The worst part is... The hospital just gave me a headache with worse pain than my neck. They had me strapped down to a hard wooden board, and the back of my head was pushing against it, which over time made me real pissed. Wait... that's not the worst thing... WE HAD TO PAY $1263 FOR A [bleep]ING AMBULANCE RIDE IN CANADA! AND AT THAT, THE RIDE WAS STILL JUST A [bleep]ING 30 MINUTE ONE! AND I DIDNT GET TO PLAY WITH THE DAMN HORN!

Not really a "near death experience", but it could've ended pretty bad. Me and my dad were on our way home from my grandma (4hr drive), and we driving on the highway at around 120km/h. You know where two separate lanes merge together? We were close to one of those, when suddenly out of nowhere a 18-wheeler turns up on the right side. Apparently he decided he had precedence in that situation because he was driving faster than us. Luckily my dad reacted fast and stepped on the brake, so we only ended up with a trashed side mirror (the side I was sitting on) and some nasty scratches on the door. Could've been worse off though.

All I remember then was my blood pouring out onto the street and them running away. I was more in shock than pain and I remembered all my memories flashing at once, I then blacked out and found myself in the hospital with a searing pain in my chest cavity. Scary moment :|

Which is probably why he could carry it with impunity. It was retractable, so it could probably fool the bacon into thinking it was harmless. I'd have to say that this dude is extremely lucky anyway. Next time, get 2 of those. 1 to block, 1 to attack, or however you want to fight.

You watch too much anime. Sorry, I don't believe you. For one, you just can't carry it around all the time. If the police were to stop you, you would be screwed. If it is an "exotic weapon" (and not just a knife), you might need some type paper (like those with gun ownership).

A little after I was born, my lungs started bleeding. They had to pump them to get the blood out, and, well... I'm glad I don't remember it. I was also born three months premature. :-#

The only anime I watch does not involve weapons of any sort, it's your choice whether to believe me or not - I have a permanent scar near my chest cavity as proof ;)

 

 

 

Short sword, or you could call it a long dagger.. 12 inches isn't long at all if you think about it - the reason I chose it is because it's small and concealable when retracted. You don't think I thought of the consequences of carrying any weapon for that matter? In the area I live in, it's very dangerous and I don't know about you but I'd rather carry a weapon to protect myself than worry about the corrupt and non-existing authorities in my area :|

Ok, well. My birthday was actually July 11th, but we could not celebrate anything that day because one of my family member's funeral was the next day. Ok, whatever. I get a party later, fine. I can deal with that.

 

 

 

Today, I learn that my 'surprise birthday party' was happening today. I feel happy, especially since my Uncle who I barely see was coming. Driving to the airport, nothing really happens. We were looking for his plane, though it was coming in a half hour later.

 

 

 

We drive in on the airport, still looking up for airplanes, and nothing. Wasn't a really busy day; I think there was like 100 people in the terminal, thouhg it is alot cinsidering where I live. We finally see my uncle's plane touch down at 17:15 CST. We meet him a couple minues later, and grab his baggage, and walk out the door.

 

 

 

We walk to our car, in a parking spot just in the front by the door; another sign that it wasn't busy. Everything's fine, discussing random things on the way home... Until "DEBBIE! WATCH OUT!" *CRASH*

 

 

 

This old man, probably in the 70's parked on the side of the road, on the right (Considering this is Canada in future references). We come up at the left lane on our city's second biggest throughfare. The old [bleep] suddenly starts driving away, and it looks like he was turning into the right lane.

 

 

 

No, he wasn't, he was coming straight at us! My mom tried to swerve, and it probably saved my uncle's leg. He hit us on our right back wheel, popping it (And I was sitting right beside it). She quickly turned, correcting our sideways momentum, and driving us straight into the curb where the van rest.

 

 

 

Our van is now totalled, we lost our only was of travel around the city, and I watched the whole thing in slow motion. I saw the entire thing from the right back seat, from when he sped up and turned to the hit, to everything flying. I was lucky I shielded my face when the glass broke on my side.

 

 

 

No one was injured, we were just shooken up. my 3 year old brother who sat beside me had a panic attack, but he was fine a little later on. This crash made headlines, and slowed traffic on the Lewvan to a snails pace while the emergeny crews worked their way through to us.

 

 

 

And, you know what. This old [bleep] was going back to the airport after his guest he picked up forgot her camera on a plane. He now has two tickets; One for Dangerous Driving and driving over a solid yellow line (though he didn't make it fully). He also has been sentenced to losing his licene until he passes a evaluation drivers test, and may face a big hunk of a fine.

 

 

 

Us; we lose our only mode of transportation, gained a little member of my brother's teddy bear collection thanks to the Hug-a-Bear campaign, and will now always be paranoid. We don't even get a rental car because we didn't have the right insurance, and the old guy does. His insurance should give us the rental car, I mean he DID drive into us.

Hmm, I was tobogganing down a hill near my house that led into a creek. My young cousin wanted to ride down it really badly. So, I went into the front, he went into the back and we went down the hill. We hit a stone and I go flying forwards. While I'm freefalling down the hill, my arm goes up trying to grab onto something. Instead, the toboggan goes over my arm twisting it back sickly. I then get up, and my arm hurts like hell. I ended up spraining it. At the end, I realized that there was a jagged rock right beside where I fell. I could have hit that rock and got a serious head injury or even snapped my neck because of the way I was falling...

I was at a club and pretty drunk, I saw my friend being beaten around by some chavs so I went over to help, one of the chavs pulled a knife and stabbed me in the abdomen. Fortunately it didn't go to deep, I think it tore some ligaments / muscle something along those lines, but healed relatively quickly, only left a long scar (slash type woune)

 

 

 

Another time at a club some Chav was staring at me so I went over asked him "what the [bleep] are you doing you [bleep]ing chav", punches were thrown, one of his mates saw it, pulled a knife and stabbed me in the thight. Went deep enough, missed some major artery / vein by millimeters according to the doctor. Got off pretty lucky and the chav was put into a youth prison for 3 years. left a cool looking scar as it was a puncture wound.

I was hiking the Masters Trail at a state park with a group of friends . It was my first hike. This hike was ten miles long the went down a large mountain and U-Turned up it again. It was very very steep at places. The trail is known for its beatufiul waterfalls. We were nearing the U turn and we had to cross a section that was not flat,(about 30degree slant down) looking over a 150ft drop into sharp rocks. Making this even more dangerous was the fact it was about 10ft long, smooth rock, no handholds and water flowing down it. A few got across(It was narrow so one at a time) with only 1 kid slipping at the end. I walked onto it and took a step and immediatly lost my footing and i grabbed a tree trunk as my feet slipped out from under me. I quickly gathered myself up, swung back onto the ledge and crossed it. The next two kids slipped and one fell back, but we caught him.

PS: When we finished the trail we were reading the Caution/History Sign. 5 people have fallen off it and all 5 died -__-

Well. When I was one, I lived in Virginia. My parents built the house and had some bricks left in the yard from the construction. My brother thought it would be cool to throw a few in the air. One landed on my skull. He was 2 and I was 1. Brick + Impact + Baby Skull = Very bad. I was bleeding severely. My mom didn't take me to the hospital though. #-o. Whatever, I got a mark on my head from it now.

 

 

 

I guess the other time is more recent. I was riding my bike in December of 2006. The roads were covered with a thin layer of ice. While I was riding, this car decided to 1. Blow a stop sign and 2. Not turn on their blinkers to turn. Me, stupidly, thinking they were going to go straight, I turn. She hit my back tire while she was turning, causing me to get hit. I got off with a few bruises and a lot of cuts. (Stupid [bleep], she dropped off her husband to see if I was ok while she went to the house.)

My dad was driving back with me and my cousin from skiing and we drove for about 5 minutes back down when we hit some black ice. We spun out in the middle of the road nearly going off the edge of a giant cliff. About 10 seconds after we got back on the right track and started going back down a snow plow drove by. So we are really lucky because we either could of fell off the cliff or got plowed.

yesterday I was let out of class early at last period, and as I got to the school gates I noticed my friend got let out early too so we were talking for a while, and from where I was standing I could see everyone as they left the school gates. The girl I like didn't go through the gates but at the time I thought of as nothing. After about 5 minutes after school ended I said bye to my friend and left school. later at home I checked my mobile to see how much battery was left, and saw that I had a new voice message, when I check it is a message from someone who the girl used to live with (sort of like a guardian) saying that the girl was missing and asking if I knew of anything to call back, so I started to kind of freak out. I was thinking, maybe she had gone somewhere and had left her phone off or at home. Anyway she wasn't at school today, so I was going out of my mind nothing went by fast enough, and if I didn't have anything to do today I would have spent all day looking for her :-w

 

 

 

I currently do not know if she is ok or where she is, the only good thing is she may have signed into myspace which would mean she is ok, unless someone else signed in on her account :cry:

Got caught in a really bad lightning storm in an open field, I was the tallest thing...I crouched in a ditch and did not get hit.

 

Then one time I was riding my mountain bike down a 60 foot hill, hit a bump and went flying, then I slammed my wrist against a tree and it snapped.

 

Last one, some idiot tried to do a drive by on me with a semi-automatic, I ducked behind a brick wall but all the shots missed, but then there was an unmarked police car right behind him and he got arrested.

anyways I have talked with her on myspace, she got kic ;) ed out of where she was staying because she wagged tuesday and so she had to go to the police station and then the DoCS (Department of Community Services) had to get her and she is now staying somewhere else but it is still close enough for her to keep comming to school :D

The horn thing was the funniest thing EVAR!

Had a new one today, I was playing gaol rules soccer and I had shoulder barged a guy, so he tackled me and twisted my neck! I heard and felt this loud crack and I thought I was going to die. Next thing I know some guy is standing above me saying "...2...3... you'reeeeee out!"

Slipping off the slippery,wet curb yesterday on a busy street.My leg was in the path of a speeing (literally,he was going way over the limit) car until the last,bloody second.I pulled my leg out of the way and fainted bloody sideways.

 

 

 

Nah,but it was scary,I had some illegal explosives for work,too.If anyone had gone through my stuff I would have been arrested.
