Had a half day of school + a pep rally-ish thing for our soccer and cross country teams (Both undefeated state champs) so I it feels like it's like 10pm right now instead of 5. Going to a football game tonight too though. I think it's raining though so it could end up sucking.

My dad bought a new lap top today, great. He claims his old one is slower then hell (which it was) because there was "junk" on it. Its slower then hell because it has 3000 some songs stored on it, (was a DJ), and simply because its like 5 years old. Because of his one set mind, he bought his new computer which will be "much faster." But sadly, as I've tried to convince him not to, hes gonna transer those 3000 songs to his new one, put some crap programs on there that do nothing at all, and some minor movies I believe. On top of it all, this new laptop will get his attention for a few days, then be used once or twice a week just like his old one. I've tried to convince him in buying an external hard drive to put the crap songs on, but he won't budge on his stance that its the "junk" that caused the laptop to be slow, not the songs. :-| God I hate my parents wasting money, especially when there are things that need to be bought around the house.

END RANT

Other then I have a huge presentation to present in front of the whole high school. (100 kids, so don't gasp.) Wish me luck please.

Why would a computer slow down because it has a lot of songs on it? If you're going to slam someone for not understanding much about technology at least know some yourself. Sure, he probably could reformat everything but if his laptop is 5 years old it is probably about time for an upgrade...

The problem is hes taken it to several "experts" before who have tried to make it faster. What they do is blame it on viruses, download some crap antivirus software, and delete everything except for the bare minimum. I guess I'm just angry about the fact that for 1: He bought it when he didn't need it. and 2: My sister gets the old laptop after my dad is through with it. (The problem with this is that everyone of my other siblings have bought their own computer, now she gets a free one, which used to be fast, and she will barely use it.)

So she gets a crappy hand-me-down laptop, whats the big deal? I can't see why you'd be jealous of that.

I was at uni and bored, so I was spam open/closing a cd drive. And this girl giggled at me every time I did it.

I used to do that all the time in high school. It never made anybody giggle, though.

I'm going to listen to a hockey game tonight, while playing Wii or PS2. Earlier I played Diablo 2 (again) and did day 2 of the Runescape Thanksgiving thing. Yeah, exciting life I have.

My brother's friend (12 years old) was asking me for relationship advice on facebook #-o I kinda felt really bad not being able to help him >.>

"You're in 7th grade. Nobody'll care what you did a few years from now. If you don't take chances, you'll wind up like me playing runescape 18 hours/day"

If only I could take my own advice <.<

I napped from 4-630 when I got home from school. When I woke up my parents were gone so I watched some of a Criminal Minds marathon. Got a text at 1030 telling me to go to a party. I went (didnt drink because I drove :() and just got home now at approx 2:30am

Am I the only one who only adds people he knows on Facebook?

Or people that there is a high chance that I know, as it can be hard to tell....

So, I've spent my day getting screamed at for having a 65 in Spanish 3. All of my grades are quite good, but since I have a D in my worst subject, which I was practically forced to not drop, I'm getting treated like a front row seat in a screamo concert....

Oh well, my mom should get over it soon, right?

...Right!?

The only difference between Hitler and the man next door who comes home and beats his kids every day is circumstance. The intent is the same-- to harm others.

[hide=Tifers say the darndest things]

I told her there was a secret method to doing it - and there is - but my once nimble and agile fingers were unable to perform because I was under the influence.

I would laugh, not hate. I'm a male. :(

Since when was Ireland an island...? :wall:

I actually have a hobby of licking public toilet seats.

A girl on facebook that my friend knows (and I like) added meh. FTW!!!

You and all 2000 of her other friends ;) At least, that's what it's like here :/ All of my "friends" are "friends" with everybody in a 200 kilometer radius.

It still opens up a possible means of communication that was previously absent. Get over yourself.

I add only people I know, as well. And presumably she will, as long as the grade stays above a fail, although I do not know your mom.

I just woke up long enough ago to check my email/facebook and come to tif. I'm not sure what I'll do today, though, since my sister is home and unable to go anywhere. What with the public transit on strike and whatnot.

The thing is that my parents are the type who believe I'm an archangel, or something.

Its can be nice sometimes, but it also means that they get upset by anything below a 95....

And I lack the commitment to get those scores in every class.

Yeah my parents do the same. Everytime I get a 6-7/10 they tell me that passing a test isn't enough. The other day I got a 10/10 in Biology and guess what they say "If only you had 10's in every subject...".

I guess I'll need to get an 11/10 to make them happy.

Also, my dad's birthday today. Got him a shirt.

Finally got my glasses yesterday. I'm still not over the huge difference they're making. It's great to be able to see stuff properly again.

Hehe earlier in the year I got new glasses. I realized I was squinting all the time to read what was written on the board for my teacher's notes. When I got them I was like WOAH! How did I not realize I was seeing everything so badly before?
