Got a pretty [bleep]in' suit. :3 It has a matching hat. I'm still debating whether I should wear it or not.

Pimp%20hat.jpg

Yes.

Then you'd really be pimping. Yessir.

[bleep] that. You need a cane.

Pssht, why not both.

Assuming your suit ... is also pimpingly purple.

Alas, one can dream. ;_;

Well I can't. Too much homework. I spent half an hour grinding the edge of my graphics calculator into my eye in frustration over a single Math question. And then I realised I'd managed to [bleep] up all my equations by not differentiating the constant properly. I felt very silly. And quite angry. I really do enjoy Math, especially since the questions that we work on in class/homework usually have proper cleanish answers. None of that random irrational decimal [cabbage]. That stuff makes me rage. The numbers should be neat and tidy. But for assignments and stuff, they're usually real life applications, which never come out nicely. And that makes me a sad panda. And there's the fact that I usually rush the questions and end up missing a tiny bit of the math which ends up ruining my whole answer.

But the feeling of sheer exhilaration you get when you've worked out like two pages of numbers and letters and squiggly lines and then you come to one answer and it's right is [bleep]ing glorious. It's like being some kind of wizard.

... I am a giant nerd, yes, I know.

Now to read some more of Lord of the Flies for English, brush up on my Drama script and then spend hours trying to fall asleep. D:

sleep like dead men

wake up like dead men

Seems like no matter how late I go to bed I'm always just laying there for three hours trying to get to sleep, and when I finally do get to sleep I just wake up every hour or so. Is this insomnia? Because if it is, it [bleep]ing sucks. I've been having some interesting dreams, though. Last night I had a dream I was driving around my yard on a lawn mower with three friends and some girl, and every few minutes we'd break out into song. I was a good singer too... only in my dreams I guess.

Roses are red,

Violets are blue.

This line doesn't rhyme,

And neither does this one.

Yes, I think that would be considered insomnia. Try setting your alarm for early in the morning (8-10) and getting up, no matter how much sleep you got. Sooner or later(week or two) your body will realize if it wants sleep, it had better get it while it gets the chance, and you should be able to go to sleep much more easily.

"It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti

Meeting today. In other words, I start and end my shift an hour early. Hopefully my line goes down somewhat early, too.

Oceansize released a song from their new album, but I can't download it for some reason. Everyone else is talking about how amazing the song is, but I can't get it to work. I followed all the instructions, but my download box is always blank. I'm starting to get really frustrated.

Yay someone just posted a torrent!!! OMFG this is amazing

Went biking in a thunderstorm today.

I highly recommend it.

"Let your anger be as a monkey in a piñata... hiding amongst the candy... hoping the kids don't break through with the stick." - Master Tang

Went biking in a thunderstorm today.

I highly recommend it.

I did the same.

Except it was really wet. And I was wearing just a T shirt. And I have no brakes. And I have almost slick tyres.

It was...interesting.

So don't let anyone tell you you're not worth the earth,

These streets are your streets, this turf is your turf,

Don't let anyone tell you that you've got to give in,

Cos you can make a difference, you can change everything,

Just let your dreams be your pilot, your imagination your fuel,

Tear up the book and write your own damn rules,

Use all that heart, hope and soul that you've got,

And the love and the rage that you feel in your gut,

And realise that the other world that you're always looking for,

Lies right here in front of us, just outside this door,

And it's up to you to go out there and paint the canvas,

After all, you were put on the earth to do this,

So shine your light so bright that all can see,

Take pride in being whoever the [bleep] you want to be.

I hope it wasn't bumpy... would hurt if you fell off.

That must of been epic, Andy :D

Wait - isn't it supposed to be the summer holidays in England?

I would strongly advice against reading the book and taking the F. Seriously, I'm warning you.

Haven't started my summer reading assignment yet... meh.

Oh please, Lord of the Flies is easy as hell, not even close to a bad book.

I had to read Great Expectations and Things Fall Apart my freshman year.

Sophomore year I had Lord of the Flies, Cry the Beloved Country, The Fall, and Antigone. The Fall was so damn confusing.

Junior year I said [bleep] it to honors lit, I hated it and didn't want to deal with an unnecessary class anymore, so I was in regular lit. feelsgoodman.jpg

My opinion is not based on the difficulty of interpreting the meaning or whatever. I mean that the book really took a blow on my soul. It was like eating 10 Sour Warheads at once. Or having "one of those days" - only condensed into a book. I would even go as far as saying it's analogous to watching Grey's Anatomy. *shivers* Yeah, it was just a very bad experience overall.

You know, that is exactly how I feel when I do math. Now I know that I'm not crazy.

My skin is finally getting soft
I'll scrub until the damn thing comes off

Made a friend today... I think. I can't remember her name. I'm pretty high right now.

Jumped off a bridge a few times into a river, that was fun. My friend did a "double pits to chesty." My idea. Got no credit, of course.

Don't think I'll have trouble sleeping tonight.

It was mad stormy here today as well. I'm ginger, so I approve of any days when the sun isn't blaring down on me.

Nah, a redhead is a redhead. A ginger has carrot orange hair and freckles abound.

They are extremely rare to me. Only knew one in my whole entire life time, and that was my 1st grade teacher.

Eh, we have a ginger girl in band. It's weird, I like redheads but gingers.....creep me out. A lot.

Know what you mean. It's like one of those government experiments where they try to create the ultimate super soldier, only to accidentally form a horrible misshapen monster.

Eh, gingers are pretty common around here.
