Today I've been relaxing most of the time. Listening to a few albums I haven't listened to for months. Still sooo bored. :(

 

I usually think it's terribly cliche and annoying when people say that they're bored, but I am now too D: I need something to do on the computer that can still have me listening to music (besides TIF).

Hanging out in California. Morro Bay today, if anyone is interested. Just thought I'd pop in and let you guys know I'm on a bit of a hiatus. Well, a probably endless hiatus. I might check in occasionally, but this is probably the last time you guys'll see me for a while. See ya.

today: nothing. drank some pepsi. didnt eat too much. except half a sandwich. came home slightly later than usual. then i studied. and yeah.

I had another dream that included a TipIter. It was SilverSword xD I didn't see him as a body, rather his name was very clear. He was setting up a computer in a temple and he said to me 'Tell anyone the password and I'll rip your balls off.' It was weird because there were instructions on the wall (in a Portal-esque manner :lol: ) that said the password on there and he only threatened me :(. Anyway, we watched some misc anime together whilst everyone else was praying. It's awesome, that makes four from the forums xD

 

 

 

I think I'm going to start keeping a dream journal. Three different scenarios happened all in one sleep induced dream. Some actors from Friends were there too... I had been watched Friends Bloopers all day yesterday o_____O

It was about Soul Wars clans and game fixing and stuff.

 

[hide=Here if you really want to read it =/]Soul Wars, one of the most recent RuneScape minigames, has been labelled a success by many and played by even more. At the beginning, to be successful at Soul Wars you needed to have skill. You had to fight your way through the enemies to the opponent's avatar, or stand back, guarding your graveyard or avatar with your very life. Soul Wars was all based on tactics. For the best chance of winning you needed to assemble your team mates and take the opponent's graveyard, most of the time the Obelisk would follow and victory was almost assured. But now, it seems as though the only thing you need to do is to go to the right team and get in the game to win.

 

 

 

On most dedicated Soul Wars worlds, you'll find auto-talkers shouting the names of clan chats in flashing and waving letters, promising three zeal each time. You'll find one of the team areas packed to the rafters whilst the other has barely 5 players waiting to get in to the ongoing battle. More often than not, the team that these clan chats choose to 'call' as the winner, will be the winning team. Players don't have to make the choice of where to defend or which of the opponent's assets to attack to secure their victory, the choice they have to make now is to go into that over-populated team and hope they out of the hundred players there will get in to the battle for the three zeal, or to go to the losing team and scrape that one zeal.

 

 

 

I personally think this detracts from what the game is supposed to be; the strategy of working with your team and fighting for victory has become far less important than the strategy of getting in the right team. With the new release of an inactivity bar by Jagex, preventing people from standing there and doing nothing (a problem that is seen across other minigames as well as Soul Wars), will this lead to a decrease in the use of clan chats that attempt to control the outcomes of Soul Wars games? Perhaps when people see that they can't simply stand outside their team's base and chat with their friends, knowing that they will win because they got in the right team, they will become more willing to fight. Though this is hard to see at the moment, the number of clan chats advertising for three zeal games seems to be always on the increase. But is this a fair way of playing the game and should something be done about these clan chats? is a question that needs to be asked.[/hide]

Okay that's... weird O_o The closest dream I had to Tip.It was that I deampt that I read on the fourms that the beta of Mechscape was out and I couldn't get to it for some reason... it was only a few days after the dream when I was walking home that I went "Oh." And was disappointed because the beta wasn't out. :(

I've dreamed of tif quite a few times, I can't remember if the dreams were about any specific users or not. I think lenin was in one about zombies before. Not that I have any idea what he looks like, but the guy had a flamethrower so I'm just going to assume he was the implied person.

Yesterday was my sisters high school graduation. It was really boring except for when she was getting her diploma. I got some really cool pictures of various objects but my 7th grade sister deleted them >_>

 

 

 

If anyone is familiar with Dennis Eckersley, he was there because he lives in my town and his son was graduating. Pretty cool, I've seen him at the supermarket a few times ;)

Today I got wet through walking from college back home. I only had a thin, summer sort of jacket on since it didn't really look like rain when I was setting off but noOOooOOoo it had to be English weather today! Nearly all my clothes are drying on the radiator now #-o

 

I went to visit my old house today.

We moved house about 4 years ago, from a tiny 2 bedroomed council house in a scraggy estate to a bit bigger 3 bedroomed council house in a just plain [cabbage] estate. I had some of my best memories at that old place, it's where I used to be able to hang around the block playing Pokemon 2: the undiscovered world (I made it up, it was a cross between Pokemon, Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh!). We used to trade pokemon cards on street corners and life was good... not to mention it was a 2 minute walk from the holy store of ASDA. It's there that I developed my unhealthy ASDA addiction... oh well...
