I'm also hopefully going to get my 24" single geared with 25 on the front, 12 on the back, a new disc brake on the back, and new bars. Also, my back wheel is lsightly out of line, and so is my front disc brake. So I'll get those fixed up too. I love your signatures Wongtong Today I went to college, did stuff, did a bit of work on my personal statement and discussed MJ's death with my friend. I got the serious business voice from my dad telling me I need to start tidying up when I get back from college. I know they both work hard but I'd be more sympathetic if he didn't waste our money and spend time at the pub after work. I'll probably do a bit though... Tomorrow will be exciting, I'm going to the local Children's book award ceremony. I haven't actually read the books for this year and after leaving secondary I shouldn't really be part of it but I've been doing it since it started. I can't break with tradition and I want to help the librarian energise what she says are rather unenthusiastic kids. It should be fun, I'll at least get to go to McDonalds anyway : I edit for the [Tip.It Times]. I rarely write in [My Blog]. I am an [Ex-Moderator]. Chained_life Posted June 27, 2009 Share Posted June 27, 2009 Watched C-span most of the day, watched the debates and voting for the "clean energy bill" I watched some guy read about 300 pages of the bill (the 300 pages was added at 3:09 am the day earlier...) I watched him point out all the government control that was in it, then, I watched the bill pass :thumbdown: probably the single greatest moment watching him read 300 pages, taking over an hour while the other side was complaining about taking too much time. They give 3 days to vote on a billion dollar bill, they don't even read it and they say "hey, trust us". Just like that fraudulent stimulus, Joe biden says "we guessed wrong", we need an amendment that says bills must be READ fully if they are 100-1000+ pages, don't guess when we're working with billions and trillions. So I would ask my colleagues... It's gonna cost £250 for conversion, and a mate is selling his revell 24" for £250. So I'll get that.
