Use flex-box and percentage widths instead of floats and fixed widths

Why?

So your site doesn't break on high-resolution devices, so that it's easier to maintain, so that you don't have to scroll horizontally on narrow devices. It's like a 5 minute change, just change the parent to flex instead of block, remove the floats, and replace fixed widths with 50% for the children and 100% (or 90% or whatever) for the parent.

My boss got fired at my delivery job, and the owner called me to "clear things up" about the weird pattern of my scheduling and attendance, so I told her "I work 3 jobs and I'm quitting in Mid-April, is that clear enough for you?". She said "ok" and then I said "have a good one" and hung up. My former boss was such a pleasantly awkward person. Other than that, having three jobs is great. Obviously knocking it down to 2 soon, but I'll likely search for a summer gig soon, if not an internship someplace.

I'm not going to enjoy moving soon, mostly due to this shitty real estate im with currently. 

 

My lease ended 2 days ago, so I have 19 days to find a new place. In the year I've been here, they've never fixed anything, they don't do room inspections, they dont keep the place clean, the community kitchen is disgusting and most appliances are broken, there's cockroaches ALL OVER the building and to top it off, the "groundskeeper" burst into MY room this morning without permission (because the prick has a master key) to tell me I need to move my car as apparently the parking space itself is leased, which means I paid them $60 for nothing. 

 

Not only was I half-naked in bed to begin with, but walking into a room or home leased like that without permission or 24 hours notice is freaking illegal.

Move to the Midwest, cost of living is peanuts.. Granted you also have to deal with living in the Midwest

I'm sticking to the Philly region for now, but maybe I'll visit other cities

I don't know if you have ever stepped on a nail, but they can go through shoes too. 

I think I've had the fortune not to, but at least a shoe provides some protection.

I was wearing a shoe. It went through the shoe aswell, which is why I didn't step too deep onto it.

8 days not smoking. Today was the first day i didn't wear a patch. Was pretty tough, but i made it. It's also been raining for like 2 days non-stop. The roads are a complete disaster. There are large puddles of water everywhere. I'm too scared to drive with my car because water might come through the doors, and i'm seriously not even exaggerating. 

I can't believe how hard it is to stop smoking. My uncle is having the same experiences as some of you guys. I'm pretty [bleep]ing glad I never got hooked when I screwed around with smoking in high school

Snow, blowing snow, nasty conditions. Today it was supposed to rain. Instead we had lots of heavy wet snow and winds so strong that pretty much every road had whiteout spots and drifting snow. Bad enough that a 10 car pileup happened on the highway nearby and lots of roads and the highway got shut down for an hour plus.

I wanted to go outside but it was like at least -20c

Spent the whole weekend at the district convention for Circle K, a community service organization I'm a part of. Wasn't really sure what to expect but it was a ton of fun getting to meet people from other clubs and people in my own that I haven't talked to as much before. Met a really cute girl there from a college 10 minutes away that I got along with really well and ended up dancing with for a bit which was fun but after she added me on facebook today I found out she's dating some guy that's like over 30 years old...awkard. Still a fun night though, haven't danced that much sober since a high school dance but I got a bunch of compliments on my dancing from some girls I knew which was really surprising lmfao, never happened before.
