Well, it's all legal.

And my girl is 19.

Then again, I am only 21 aswell, but still.

So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends.

RPG is constantly dealing with psycho exes.

Muggi reminds us of the joys of polygamy.

Saq is totally oblivious to how much chicks dig him.

I strike out every other week.

Kalphite wages a war against the friend zone.

Randox pretty much stays rational.

Etc, etc

You're an established adult, she's just started freshman year. Maybe.

My girlfriend is 19, I'm 23.  Depending on personalities it isn't as weird as you may think.  Although there are definitely some difficulties associated with that big of an age gap.  It won't be that strange though, probably. Its a lot weirder to think about the age difference than it is in practice. At least that's what I've found.

RPG, my grandfather has parkinsons and is 84.  I definitely understand, it can be a hard thing to watch.  Luckily he's still mentally sharp although speaking is getting difficult for him and during his bad periods of the day he's a bit out of it.

I don't date people if they're not compatible with my lifestyle, so no one under 21. I don't think there is anything wrong with dating or seeing anyone young, it's just I would have no [bleep]ing clue what to do.

I just think at some point they become "too young". 7 year difference at my age is a big difference. I think if you're like 40 dating a 30 year old it's fine, but a 25 year old dating someone that's pretty much still in high school is a bit weird.

Oddly enough i got a call from her earlier today asking me if i had any interest in maybe taking her sister out who's new in town. I agreed to it without knowing what her sister looks like. I didn't really want to ask for a picture of her before i said yes or no because that would pretty much just come off as douchey. She did refer to her as her "hot older sister" so there's hope.

By the way, did you hear the rumours about Ghosts 2? If they're accurate, i find it kind of a strange move after the bad response Ghosts got.

What a Playa Noxx.

Also - remember the x/2+7 rule. You're 25 so that would mean age appropriate girls would have to be at least 25/2+7 years old. Or 20 for those of you too lazy to math

Are you suggesting that 20 and 17 are a good match? Also you forgot a half..

Yeah but the odds that you have the same birthday or within 6 months of one another is just as likely as being 6 months outside each other. Rounding is easier

I might be the only person in the world that cares about the CoD campaign stories, but they've got to deal with that cliffhanger ending they gave us. If it is Ghosts 2 I wonder if they'll keep the advanced movement or go back to the old system.

Actually a statistic i saw a long time ago showed that only a small portion of people who buy CoD actually play it online. Something like 19% or 32%, i don't remember which. And as far as i remember, the only good thing people had to say about Ghosts was that the campaign was really good. As far as the advanced-movement thing goes, well it can go either way. On the one hand you have people who play the game casually, who really just want to shoot some people, who don't really understand the negative implications the advanced-movement has on the game. So to them they'll have fun and play it, with or without advanced-movement. On the other hand you have players who take the game a bit more serious, who compete, etc. They understand how the advanced-movement makes the game a lot more fluky than it should be, which ends up lowering the skill-gap. It's not as bad in BO3 as it was in AW, but it still adds a lot of inconsistency and you still lose a lot of gunfights you shouldn't/wouldn't normally lose. So i'm sure these kind of players would prefer to see advanced-movement gone.

In my personal opinion i think Infinity Ward has the perfect opportunity to redeem themselves after releasing MW3 which was pretty awful, and then Ghosts which is considered to be one the worst (if not the worst) CoD in history. I don't know how well it would fit in with the story-line of the Ghosts campaign (i never played it), but if they manage to bring us a WW2-ish game, or at the very least a "boots on the ground" game, i think they'll make a big part of the community (the community that actually cares about balance) very happy. And they need to remove the concept of specialist abilities/weapons completely. I think it's a very poorly executed copy of Destiny and quite frankly it just doesn't fit in CoD at all (because it just adds yet another element of inconsistency). Developers seem to cater towards bad players, and bad players make up the majority of the community. But bad players will play the game regardless, so they're basically catering towards players who really don't give a shit as long as they get to shoot a gun. I find it strange though because personally i really enjoyed AW despite some of the infuriating aspects of it, but i don't really enjoy BO3 as much even though i think it's technically a better game. But i would prefer a more old-school CoD just because it caters to my playstyle a lot more.

I hadn't heard that rumor yet.

Ghosts was the first title that was constructed by Infinity Ward after their whole employee purge in 2010. It's not surprising that they're continuing the series, but they have a lot work to do to impress the gaming community.

I think the advance movement system is here to stay for a while, but I won't be mad if they move away from it.

I like the advanced movement. It's a huge breath of fresh air compared to the "boots on the ground". I'll be disappointed if it goes away this soon, especially since it's been made better than in AW and can still get even better. It's also made maps much more interesting now that there are spots to wallrun or gaps you have to use the boosters to get across. I also feel like it's easier to combat campers now that it's possible to come at them from so many angles. This is the most I've played CoD since BO1 and I've been having a lot of fun with it. I agree that the specialists need to go because half of the weapons and abilities are straight up garbage anyway.
