Looks like I've received confirmation today on my first gig. It's a festival that all the local bands from my school go to every year on the weekend before school starts, and the bassist/drummer/singer of the band that are hosting it want to make a cover band with me :P Right now it looks like we'll be playing Uprising by Muse followed by Hope Leaves by Opeth followed by The Groove by Muse. Looks like it's going to be a lot of fun!

 

Sounds fun. :thumbup: Might be working on a band later this year. Half covers, half originals. Muse is definitely on my list of bands to cover. So long as I get a muff pedal at some point for Hysteria. -.-

 

 

 

Anyhow, last day of summer SOOO I am going to spend it relaxing and playing stuff on bass and guitar.

Today I sent a rather stern email to Facebook about that fake account some of my college bullies made of me. It's still not down yet even though I reported it weeks ago. From what I can Google, it looks like you have to pester them constantly to get anything done -.-

Woke up, ate, logged onto RS, then cleaned up my bike, and had a friend come over and hang out.

I went to a concert last night, but didn't get home until this morning. It was a Shinedown concert, with Rev Theory as opener at Kentucky State Fair. I got a drumstick autographed by Shinedown and rev theory since I was in front row in front of stage :P. I also found out I drunk french-kissed my cousin according to the videos and pictures her friend took. It was a blast and I just now got over hangover headache.

I type +- wpm + I play a [cabbage]load of videogames. I have proThumbs. Also, practice amkes perfect. Just learn where all the a-z keys are and practice.
