They want someone UNDER 18, with qualifications that take 2-3 years to obtain, and you cant do them till after year 10/12 which is 16/18. It doesnt [bleep]ing work like that you moron employers. you either hire a junior OR fully qualified. It's no wonder people over 18 are finding it so damn hard to get a job, especially when some of us are 20 and want to goto Uni next year -.-

Over the past few weeks, the three people I live with have been getting in arguments and even a few physical fights. I have decided to get my own place again. Does anyone know if making roughly 1300 a month, I can find a place in England near London? I am sick of living in the United States and my employer can transfer me overseas.

It seems about right. A place within the actual city will cost way too much to rent, you'll probably find better luck on the outskirts of the city or even in the outlying towns.

Watched three episodes of Dexter and watched Hostel ( really disturbing movie). Also i don't mine spiders if they don't go in my bedroom or make their web in walkways (been owned by webs so many times going to clotheline). Funnel webs also scare the crap out of me.

We don't get them out this way, but damn, I remember watching some show where one of those bastards was hiding in a kid's Lego and got him, I didn't touch mine in weeks.

I also bought a radar detector today. I tested it and it never missed a highway patrol. The model is a Whistler XTR-690SE. You can get it at Walmart for around $200.00.

Making $1300 a month? I don't live in england but around here you'd be hard pressed to pay rent just for that amount, not even considering savings/bills/food/etc...

$1300 will allow you a small apartment and money for food/bills etc. It won't be easy, but it's possible. My older sister is doing similar (although she's in the city of Bristol).

Today I went to my first classes.

I have 3 psych core classes, a comp sci class, and a class that revolves around the internal and external manifestations of conflict in the book/film Fight Club.

 

This semester is going to kick so much ass.

On topic: another normal-ish school day for me. Today, towards the end of school, I, along with other students got the chance to meet Michael Eavis - the founder of Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts. Was an interesting experience, now I know a bit more about the festival.

 

After school I went for a skate with a couple of friends, then made my way back home.

A flat would probably be cheaper, plus you'd get to meet some new people. London's pretty expensive from what I've heard, at least central london.
