Keep shaving it, it seemed to work for thinning out my hair a bit. It also makes the hair grow at a faster pace.

If you get your hair cut at the barber's you can ask them to thin it for you. They have these special scissors that work really well, I've been getting my hair thinned since as long as I can remember :thumbup:

Unless you're willing to spend one heck of a long time looking after long hair, or money getting someone else to style it, don't bother. Short hair might take about 5 minutes maintenance a day but long hair needs much more to stop it looking messy and silly.

 

Short back and sides, then let it grow a bit if you want it short-medium length.

My hair's about 5 or 6 inches and takes about 20-35 minutes of maintenance everyday. But I def prefer it over having short hair that looks goofy. Though I've recently perfected the cycle of mohawk -> surfer flip -> jew fro -> typhoon then that gets too long and bushy and I go back to mohawk. Takes exactly 1 year. Perfect :cool:

@rocco: 12bucks an hour? Pretty nice for just a summer job. Mind you, to maximize profit, take 2 jobs like I did when I was 15. I had one job mon-thurs, then another job saturday/sunday. Sure, the summer wasn't too fun, but I ended up starting september with 4 grand in my bank...
