Orpheus
3 tornado warnings during school. Sup. Actual siren went off here at uni. Tornados everywhere. And something like 5000 bolt strikes in 10 minutes. I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal. OPEN WIDE HERE COMES THE HELICOPTER. KittyKat
Yeah, MRSA is a real [bleep] from what I hear. One of my good friends from football contracted it and nearly died. I will put my boots on. I will pass on down the corridor.
foursideking
Well, I'm finally out of the hospital now. Got both my legs from the knees-down bitten/scratched by my inlaws' pet pitbull, who then turned out to have rabies with the inlaws knowing the entire time. Gonna have casts on both legs for the next 6 weeks, darn dog turned my shins into shredded wheat.

Stev
Yeah, MRSA is a real [bleep] from what I hear. One of my good friends from football contracted it and nearly died.It kills more people in Canada and the US then AIDs. Mortality rate is often reported as 20-50% (Depending on the region and how soon it was caught). And I beat it 3 times... All were from invasive surgery and thus were not on the skin, but instead attacking the tissue inside my knee. This is why it was so hard to get rid of... Both my knees are "fake"... Total knee replacement. MRSA would not leave with hardware inside, but they couldn't very well take my knee out. -.- MRSA may progress substantially within 24–48 hours of initial topical symptoms. After 72 hours MRSA can take hold in human tissues and eventually become resistant to treatment. The first time I had it, I went 1.5 weeks with no treatment (Didn't know I had it). Was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance with a fever of 107. The second time, I went 3 months. Thought it was gone (But knee still hurt immensely). Wasn't gone. Third time, recognized the pain, knew I still had it and caught it early. Each time I had 8 - 12 weeks with a PICC line. darn dog turned my shins into shredded wheat. Anyone else hungry? I just realized I've been spending more time talking about an essay due tomorrow morning with my class on facebook than actually working on the essay itself. :thumbdown:Yeah, at my school the Seniors' research papers were due today (or at least this week), so Facebook was basically filled with hourly updates on how much 3 particular people hated life all this weekend. 'twas funny until I realized that I'm going to have the same problem in a month.
