However, I got my marks back for a big presentation in one class and our group did really well.Unfortunately the accompanying report wasn't finished being marked yet, so I don't get that back until Monday. Icuownage Posted April 8, 2011 Share Posted April 8, 2011 Went to a University seminar today, got a BUNCH of prospectus(es or is it i) and now considering the university to attend. But I have come to terms that I will take a year out after studying for my A-levels to apply for an apprenticeship, cause apparently that makes future employers goo in their pants. It'll also help with finance of the university.Are you in A2 or AS? If you're in A2 then you could apply late for university entry this September and save yourself some money before tuition fees go up the year after. Sure, the tuition fees shouldn't impact in the short-term since grant and loan is still available but that year could be the difference between £9,000 tuition fees and £27,000 fees considering pretty much every university is having to charge £9,000 regardless of what the government wants to happen. Work experience is great though. AS :), and I'm going to take a year out after I finish my A-levels to get an apprenticeship, if I can't find one I'll go to Uni. Hopefully the apprenticeship will help with the student fees. And today I went to school eventhough it's now my holiday (They were open this last day cause it was an inset day) and completely finished my film! It's a REALLY big shaft.I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time? Racheya Posted April 8, 2011 Share Posted April 8, 2011 Y'know, I regret not having any more stages of education to go through now. I'm missing all the prospectuses and, most importantly, FREE PENS. At college we went to this University exhibition and there were just a load of University booths with prospectuses and free things. I came back with about 20 pens, 4 bags, playing cards, bouncy balls, those little fuzzy things, everything :D I miss that :( They were even giving out chocolates... I edit for the [Tip.It Times]. Basically government offices would have closed down, people wouldn't get paid, such as the troops in the middle east, and other bonuses like social security checks or tax rebates would be suspended.
