Republicans and Democrats spent the past months bickering on what budge they want to use.

Today was their deadline and if they didn't reach it by 12AM EST the government would shut down for sometime. Basically government offices would have closed down, people wouldn't get paid, such as the troops in the middle east, and other bonuses like social security checks or tax rebates would be suspended.

 

Shame. I'd have enjoyed a week or two of anarchy

Had a bad day today as well, had a pep rally with literally 1000 people screaming and throwing things around me. I cannot STAND groups of 5 or 6 people, so this was torture on an insane scale. I would have walked out if I didn't have my Walkman on full blast to drown out most of the noise.

School is basically my life for the next 17 days.

So I finally got to try those Double Down burgers, I had three. You can pick me up from the hospital later tonight.

I just went out for a run, gotta do something about my stamina, especially with PE next trimester probably focusing on running. Afterwards, helped my mother clear the weeds from between the sidewalk, a job that really needed doing; the sidewalk was starting to look like a jungle.

Those Double Downs look so good. I've yet to try one though.

 

So I've literally done nothing productive today. Woke up, watched some random documentary on HBO, took a nap, woke up and it was raining so I've been laying here messing around on the internet.

Just finished the first step of building a 25cm tall statuette of a man genuflecting I have to do for homework. I'll have to complete tomorrow.

Might be staying at a mates throught next week as a break away from home cause he's house sitting.

Today I've been reading a lot about finance and trying to work out how screwed we are, and holy jumping [cabbage] balls.
