nine naked men
I guess I'll be getting ripped off a bit but I'd prefer to get all of it quickly then having to wait months so I can use the downloads that we haven't used at the end of the month to get it :| Well hopefully I can hold off watching the last seven or so episodes till the day before I go away so I can't watch season 2 and when I come back I'll have forgotten it for a little while  But wouldn't be easier just to stream videos online? That's what I do. Still takes up usage. Also, I'd watch Trigun if I were you, I thought it was really good. sleep like dead men wake up like dead men
Allbot
for manga love hina is really good i thought, but blade of the immortal is the best imo even though it is a bit more mature. anime wise evangelion, trigun are all very good

Star.
Torrenting so many animes like mad so I can watch them on my ipod at school haha. Anyone else watch Ghost in the Shell? It's interesting to say the least. I've seen bits from it from when I skipped over the Anime channel on TV but it didn't really enthrall me. I suppose it's one of those ones that you have to watch from episode 1 to understand it. And Cowboy Bebop was on sometimes, I'm a sucka for it. Sorta reminded me of the Animatrix though. That was scary D: 'Matriculated' and 'the second renaissance' got to me, the short stories are quite ... captivating, they boggle your mind. Ooh, Maria-sama ga Miteru 4th season :P It's all fluff and borderline-lesbianism; the rose system allows it to be so. Kiriyama
Anyone else watch Ghost in the Shell? It's interesting to say the least. I do. 2nd Gig has to be better than the 1st, though Solid State Society would have been better as a series, to be more in-depth, than as a film, but it would leaves us all feeling screwed for the 4 year (I believe?) gap between it and 2nd Gig. I prefer the 2nd Gig as it takes itself more seriously than the 1st. (Though unlike Innocence, it doesn't take itself too seriously.) (Though really, I like the continuos reference to "Catcher in the Rye" in 1st Gig) Oh and Star, you don't have to watch from episode one. Just the Complex, Individual and Dual episodes in order to understand the storyline, maybe Jungle Cruise if you want a bit about Batou's past. Most of the Stand Alone and Dividual episodes can been watched in any order, unless they are 2 part ones. Also, I'd watch Trigun if I were you, I thought it was really good. If the Trigun was directed at me then I would like I have all the episodes of it but they're not subbed and I can't speak Japanese and I don't know how to add subs to vids

Nunnaly sounded too adult like. Lelouches voice doesn't change when he's Zero. C.C. and V.V. are now C2 and V2. Horrible. Jaziek
it should probably be C.C.. but not Shitsu (XD) or Buitsu, that would just sound plain odd in english. also, Gurren Lagann is so awesome it doesnt even have to BOTHER Giga drill breaking evangelion, it would just step on it... and all of earth... and the milky way as well, in the process. Wait I'm just confused now last page you said that Code Geass was full of win :? yes, its probably in my favourite 5 shows ever, but stay the hell away from fansites full of raving yaio craving fat chicks, or you'll have "suzululu" burned into your retinas for ever. Also, schneizel's clearly female assistant was just lol. I mean come on, shopped I know, but it shows what every fangirl was schlicking over for the last 10 or so episodes. but nobody makes yaoi of TTGL... Jernlov
INSERT REBUTTAL HERE. But seriously, I never got my head around the incredible amount of [cabbage] drama in CG. It moves too fast for me; causing me to rage, rage, rage and call it [cabbage]. It's not the worst thing ever (Love Hina is), but in my opinion it was nothing more than a melodramatic trainwreck. The episodes I've seen of Geass R2 were dreadful; it was instantly forgettable. Not to try and pick a fight with you or condemn your tastes (Clannad is pretty good bro), but myself and my anime-watching friend agree that it was a pretty forgettable watch. I'm not really into action stuff though; I like my anime to be beautiful (Haibane Renmei), or just downright weird and surreal (Serial Experiments Lain). I can't go into how much I love those series without going into fanboy overdrive though. :\ Edit: [bleep]ing quotes. Eregion2
I entirely don't get the CG fanaticism. The manga was kind of entertaining but the anime was not at all compelling. :? Haven't read the manga much recently either, guess it's just not what I'm interested in.i read a manga called Deadman Wonderland today, its pretty good, if you like elfen lied you'll like this. basically, this kid gets framed for the massacre of his middle school class, and gets shipped off to a privately run prison that uses the prisoners and disposable labor, and, well cannon fodder in killer obstacle courses that people pay to watch. has a decent amount of creepy little girl in it too, kinda gory though.I've read it as well; I thought it looked kind of familiar, then found out it's done by the same team who did Eureka 7. \ I like Wonderland more though, except somehow they totally killed the mood with the Scar Chain organization. I don't even know how they did it, but the crazy guitar monk is making things interesting again. You might want to look into Doubt as well; kind of a classic psycho-thriller that can get a little cheesy, but trying to figure out which one was the psychotic maniac kept me reading. :geek: Fantastic artwork as well, very dark/gory/highschoolaxemurderish. [hide=][/hide] I'm not really into action stuff though; I like my anime to be beautiful (Haibane Renmei), or just downright weird and surreal (Serial Experiments Lain). I can't go into how much I love those series without going into fanboy overdrive though. :\You should pick up Texhnolyze sometime, Yosh-toshi ABe was in on it as well (he did quite a bit of work on both Renmei and SEL). I actually registered on Paypal and Ebay specifically for this purpose: won an auction and got both SEL and Texhnolyze complete sets last week. They pwn. The first half is more serious/realistic, the second half when they go to the surface totally makes up for the previous lack of surrealism though. I've tried to find NieA 7, but so far no luck. Added to BLAME! I think I know have the beginning of a respectable anime/manga collection tbh. Two mangas I've found recently worth recommending are by Tsutomu Takahashi: Alive! and Sidooh (first completed, second ongoing). Alive! is about a death-row inmate saved from execution for use in a scientific experiment involving a paranormal phenomena; 10 chapter thriller. Sidooh is about two brothers in 1858 Japan who are trying to become samurai and fight against westernization. Brilliant characters, huge body count. #-o Gentaro Yukimura is just badass. [hide=][/hide] PS: Also found out Tsutomu Nihei used to be Tsutomu Takahashi's assistant; I can't imagine them both working on a single project, that'd just be too much awesomeness. :-# Also getting Hellsing out again from Netflix; loved it before, but the better quality makes it come across so much better tbh.
