August 15, 200817 yr Well there goes accessing TIF on a slower connection :shock: I think the increase is a bit to much maybe 50kb or even 60kb but 100kb? That's at least 1000kb per thread opened, That as mentioned is alot of bandwidth when viewed simultaneously, not to mention people's downloads (regarding their internet). But whatever, The administrators know what they are doing. :) Remember, you can turn off signatures if you really have ISP problems.

August 15, 200817 yr I think 40kb was actually fine, 30kb was as well. I had no difference in visual quality when resizing from 80kb to something like 30kb.

August 17, 200817 yr Well, it's worth noting that not everyone on Tip.it will change their signatures to 100kb, so I don't think there will be many thread pages with like 1MB worth of signatures. Besides, if it's a problem you can remove signatures from posts using your User Control Panel.

I might consider adding a second, possibly animated image though.
