rangeor
anyone know when it comes out ? My guess would be December 10th. I hope. If not, I probably won't have 99 def/mage by the time it comes out :\
Cha0sx
My hope for PvP worlds is no level restrictions. I want my level 136 combat to be able to count for something, and go around one hitting level 3s and 10s... so much more fun than taking a half hour to kill another 136... Yomyth105
anyone know when it comes out ?i have never pked the whole time i have been playing runescape. sounds fun.not too much fun for p2p. because of all the potions: prayer and a whole bunch of other potions poison and the list keeps going :ohnoes: but for f2p... it would just be strength potion and the prayer and food .pretty simple.....that is if it will be for f2p  plus will the new armor only be from the generated drops or would you be able to but it from g.e. or somewhere else? p.s. oh yeah i forgot about summoning  making it a lot more harder for p2p :ohnoes: that is really why i enjoy f2p pking. it is short and simple. then it just comes to strategy and luck. I want my level 136 combat to be able to count for something, and go around one hitting level 3s and 10s... Tricky. Suppose Jagex designs an update where low-lvls get 1-hit. That's fun for high-level players, but it's not going to appeal to newbies who merely happen to have great reflexes, etc. It'd be a minigame where having an amazing combat level is the only way to succeed. That isn't much fun for lower levels, and Jagex really does have to worry about those, otherwise they'd alienate all new members. c.f. all those people who complain that BH only works for people at the upper end of their arena's level range. A game should be fun at all levels, not just at 136. Otherwise we'd be resticted to PVP against players who intend to hit level 136 soonish. Which isn't the demographic to which we are accustomed. Would be ridiculous any other way. It's been my theory (for over 2 years) that it'll increase the farther from the safe spots (banks most likely) you get. The only area with no level restrictions will be the Wilderness. Let's face, you can't call it the Wilderness if it's the same as all the other areas of Runescape, so making it a free for all is the only thing that makes sense. Of course, that means you cannot teleport out of the Wilderness at all so I guess that means the ditch will remain for "safety" reasons. Basically, you won't be owning noobs at Lumbridge, but you can own the morons stupid enough to site see in the Wilderness. T. Skill
Sounds great, but I don't know if it'll be enough to get me playing again, I've lost faith in Jagex(but then again this is the first update I've read through completely for about 3 months so I don't know if the game has gotten any better since I stopped playing. :? ) Pirate Rosetta stone. onuasdad
THE update will be within 3 months You just nailed it. Jagex already has to do many bugfix releases for the new quest, go with everyday life, do some other stuff, etc. Plus it's very advanced things.
