Pker attitude-Spreading like a disease?

I don't PK, but I go to duel arena. some people put on prayer, so I use a different combat style with smite or pray as well. Then they say pray off, so I either turn it off and use d scim special or leave it on.

You get made fun of for everything on this game. No matter what you do, it won't really make a difference because you'll get called a noob/nerd anyways so just play how you want to play. If you want to spend money on pots and food then who's going to stop you? They can flame all they want, but there's nothing they can do about you owning them.

After a while of these people making fun of you and such you learn to have fun with it. When they call you noob they're wasting valuable time to attack. Oh, and if you try to be funny like oH you safer noob, then you would just say, who's the one alive? Really all they want is to win, because if they kill you, they have money. It's pretty stupid for them to think there's a guy that will walk up in full gilded for them and let them be killed. Just don't pk or bring a few friends. Tbh there are just as many arrogant skillers, as there are true pkers. Most the people that whine and give pkers the bad name don't have a clue how to pk.

 

 

 

I don't like it when pkers are basically abused just because of the immaturity of others. Pking was the heart of the skilling economy before it was removed, then now its coming back (Possibly but we cant take jagex's word for it) which will probably boost the economy all the pk-haters come out of the woodwork.

 

 

 

Its the best for both worlds, Pkers get there worlds, no reason for a skiller to ever go there and the herblore/fishing/cooking ect market will probably thrive again. Win Win.

But when they see you brought an additional 30 people, they call you a clan-noob and leave... This basicly solves the problem on that world...

 

 

 

The more fun it is when you add them to friends and track them to another world, and ruin their day there as well :)

Here is what I figure. Lets say you are dueling. You have full veracs versus their dharoks. The dharoks guy prays, so you pray. He calls you a noob for praying. Magnify this by 10x and you will have the new pk worlds. No matter what you do, pkers will flame, regardless of if you follow their rules or not. I rarely pk because I don't like the atmosphere, but yea as was said earlier they just want an easier way to kill you. In f2p if someone says no armor, I love to just laugh at them and kill them. If they are stupid enough to follow the "pk" rules let them, but that doesn't mean you have to. They are looking for the best way to kill you, and if you follow their rules most likely they wil win. They are a player killer by profession.

 

 

 

So here is my advice ignore their childishness. They can't help it if they are stupid enough to follow their rules, so just let them "no armor" and call you a "prayer noob" but in the end if the fight is fair and you don't follow their stupid rules you should win the fight. \

To topic starter: All of the people that you are talking about are truly the noobs and idiots. They have now reached the high levels (with summoning or without) and are setting a back example. Back in feb 2007, these people you are describing were level 70s, 80s, and 90s. They have now became level 110+ and act like that. It depends on the atmosphere you are around. Back when I played, in FOG, I would get called a noob and I always just said "lol" before they were killed. It's also hilarious with p2pers come to f2p with some p2p item + their rune armor. May that be a Desert/White Boot or a skill cape. F2P idiots go like "nice attack", then me being level 124, they don't realize I have attack, df, str, and hp >_>.

 

 

 

Anyways.. its a sad thing how the pkers of today are. Those who were complete noobs 1 year ago are now setting the example for the noobs to be, those 2 years ago have set the example. Are now maxed out and consider themselves "old school". Every level 120+ (f2p cb) you see now is a freaking pc result. You search them on Runehead and boom "PC List #"

 

 

 

Oh, I want to say: I maxed out (99str, atk, df, hp) on Feb 21, 2006. Why? Because I can.

People hate to lose, and that's why they name call. One good example is one of my trips to FOG. I was up against a level 10 kid and I'm level 100. Of course, I take full advantage of portals and stuff, and he calls me a runner noob. You know what I did? I took out R2H, and 1 hitted him a number of times. The "pker" attitude is a way for the bad pkers to make themselves seem good, but are really being immature. When a bad pker thinks that they are doing good or just trying to be cocky they make themselves look like an idiot.

 

 

 

Being well known to pking myself *points down* I've seen both he mature and immature attitudes of pkers. At time I will flame someone with an attitude like you said, but it's more of a joke. When good pkers get a kill they don't act like idiots like the bad pkers do.

Replying to bolded area: So if you are losing, players like you would put on Protect from Melee and run away? If you do this, damn are you that scared of losing pixels yet you flame "pkers" for following player-made rules? You aren't the only one following "the rules", he/she is as well. These are the most commonly accepted rule when f2p no-armoring (in high llv crater at least):

 

 

 

- Don't safe

 

- Don't item protect

 

- Don't run away if loosing

 

- Don't call a buddy to help you out

 

 

 

If you are truly a better player/pker, you can beat the opponent while following these rules. If you are not, then you are pixel-hungry therefore making you a nerd which you so much dislike (pkers flame = players like you think they are nerds. pkers follow rules = same thing) Hippocrates..

Ye this usally happens to me im lvl 75 but can kill a few lvl 100s with the right equip when i was at fight pits i see a guy who was 85 and he calls me n00b pl0x amd i remeber that about a few hours ago i beat him in duel arena so when the fight starts he calls gis gang to pile all 12-15 of them so my friend is beside me and he uses ice barrage on ME they all say lol some friend they were so buisy insulting me they didnt notice i had mage protect on and the spell missed and they didnt have 37 prayer which as 85-90 they probaly should so the ice barradge does about 10 to them every time my friend casts it eventually when he has to kill me(my friend) every one said lol n00b u nedd friend help and a few pl0x n00b.so next fight i take 2 of them on and kill them i eventually die but it sure shut them up a 75 could kill a lvl 90 note i had no food

I see what you mean but cw is bad to. I get 5 level 136 on me, all with ags, plus an ancient in ahrims. I pray, I'm a prayer noob. I use bandages, eater noob. Pots (which I rarely use anymore), potter noob, etc. Then I'm a noob for losing when it would be impossible to beat that fight. Cw might actually be the worst one because that's where the pkers who didn't like bh went (which was a lot).
