Stress Relief?

Just wondering how you folks handle stress. I just bottle mine up and let it out on videogames or shooting or boxing or something, but that probably won't work as I get busier and busier this year. So, how do you relieve stress?

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

I don't get stressed. I might get anxious if I know something needs done or I have an important choice to make, but in those situations I relieve it by doing whatever needs done and making the choice.

I suffer from stress a lot and it doesn't take a lot to set my fuse. It's one of my more negative traits, and I've developed ways of coping with it.

It depends what sort of stress it is. If it's overwhelming stress, I'll write whatever's irking me down on a piece of paper, and then usually scrunch it up again and throw it away before anyone else can read it, or if it's something I might need later, I'll keep it hidden.

In some ways, it's actually better than talking to others. There's no one else you can be more discreet to than yourself, at the end of the day, and you don't have to worry about how the person you're telling is taking it. It's off your chest, and you've not "burdened" anyone else with your problems.

But if it's general stress, usually a few songs (piano pop/rock music, typically. Dunno why, but pianos are soothing), or a good walk, or spending some time with friends will fix it and put me in a good mood again.

Video games or music. Video games, well, if you can't be violent in real life and blow things up, might as well do that virtually. Really though, video games are distracting. As for music, sure, I listen to music sometimes when I'm stressed, but I also meant playing music. Piano, music from the Lord of the Rings. (Classical doesn't help at all, I'd probably find it too hard and get pissed even more) But yea, I just whack my piano until I'm content

I don't get stressed that often, but on the occaision I become extremely stressed, I take long seemingly pointless walks in no particular direction and become a recluse. I've actually wandered into some pretty cool places because of that and have now taken up wandering whenever. So, I guess my stress relief is wandering and occaisionally avoiding people.

Eating.

That and doing something in my computer; playing video games, reading TIF, watching funny videos on Youtube...

I tend to grab one of my guns and just go out in my back yard to put lots of holes in random things I have laying around, be it old cans, fruit, the occasional chipped plate or a host of other things. By the time I'm done blasting things apart I am usually quite a bit calmer.

Since the new off-topic, I can't post a certain way to relieve stress, but w/e.

I tend to swim or EXERCISE. It is a better way then eating.

As long as I can still see my six pack I really couldn't give a damn.

Eating has always been my number one reliever of stress, ever since I was a babeh (as far as my mom tells me). Exercise when I'm in a bad mood just makes me feel more like crap than I already did.

Basically, exercise makes me feel like I'm running from my problems while tiring myself out, while eating just calms me down and helps me forget them until I can think about them when I'm in a better mood.

Sums up what I do, and maybe exercise a bit, it helps.

I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal.

When I am stressed, I start to spin pens. It works very efficiently.

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

Am I the only one who finds eating an inconvience? Don't get me wrong, I enjoy trying new foods and eating "gourmet" foods; but eating in general, I consider a nuisance. Basically, if I could live off coffee and the occaisional restaurant outing, I would.
