Broad tipped arrows..?

I got members today, and I bought 2k broad tipped bolts, turns out you need 55 slayer to wield;

 

since when was the 55 slayer req in effect?

 

I was using it during the summer with 1 slayer.

It was meant to be 55 slayer to start with, Jagex realized the mistake and changed it back.

Not much you can do but get normal arrows and train slayer. :|

You should save them and try training your stats whilst training slayer. It's fairly easy to do in the lower levels.

55 Slayer is a joke to get. It's so easy. Even at lower levels it takes like a week to get. If I were to start slayer at MY combat level now, though, I could probably get 55 Slayer in 1 day. ^-^

55 Slayer is easy to get, even at low combats and the rewards pays off in the long run, letting you kill advanced monsters for good loot, and Slayer Dart is very commonly used for Barrowing.

As for the topic: 55 slayer isn't that "easy": it would take around a month I guess at your level. However it's well worth the time!

Just train it another way, it's worth it. My own slayer level is 3, but I know that a high slayer level is very useful because I have friends who have a rather high slayer level. And that have helped them a lot in the game. Good luck with the training!

I wouldn't say so ... I've seen lvl3 skillers get 55 slayer in about two weeks. (I think they no-life for around 8 hours)
