Very interesting read, I'm going to add a "Like it" in a minute, but you might wanna use the sticky to tell everyone about the page.

tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :(
But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities.
That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.

Apparently a lot of people say it. I own.

http://linkagg.com/ Not my site, but a simple, budding site that links often unheard-of websites that are amazing for usefulness and fun.

Ha, the response to the "10%" myth mirrors my opinions to a T.

"No." Gold.

by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.]

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

What about the bathtub question???

where someone tells you to empty a bathtub.. and choose one of the following..

they then give you a bucket, a cup and a teaspoon.

and the correct answer is to actually pull the plug.

You guys realize this is complete bologna, aye?

Do you mean psychology as a whole or just this article?

The title does make me laugh a bit though - "pseudo-Psychology". Psychology itself may as well be a "pseudo-science" it's that vague.

Funny article, but I am a bit miffed they put horoscopes in the realm of even pseudo-psychology. Just goes to show that the items in this article really have little or nothing to do with psychology as a science.

horoscopes are actually pseudo-science

Some people use close to 100% of their brain. It's called a "seizure".

For it is the greyness of dusk that reigns.

The time when the living and the dead exist as one.

Think how smart I could be if only I could attain this state of "seizure"!

/sigh

anyone who has taken a basic psychology class should know this, just goes to show the ignorance in our society really

waking up with morning wood does not mean we were thinking dirty thoughts :^o

It's true that we use all of our brain. It's basic physiology that when a cell isn't used anymore, it dies. A cell is in its function dependant on other signals provided by surrounding cells. A cell that doesn't receive these signals anymore and just lies around.. simply dies.

You don't use all parts of your brain at the same time, but every single cell in your brain has its function.

Edit: That part doesn't even have anything to do with psychology, lol. It's biology.

A good point.

But seriously, who actually still believes that horoscopes are true? I mean, you would probably still believe that the world is flat if you truly thought that.

Oh wait, Flatearthsociety.org. I forgot.
