I think I'll pass on this quest, the exp rewards are not particularly useful and a lack of new items seals the deal. Storyline doesn't really mean anything either, I read what every NPC has to say but I don't particularly pay any attention to it.

Judging by the time of the update and the time TUBA finished it, it doesn't seem to be a very long quest. For 47k exp and 2 qp it doesn't seem bad.

 

Can't wait till a guide comes out so I can read up on all the history (f2p atm)

15K Hunter exp and 10K Mining exp, plus a 1K lamp? Reason enough for me to do the quest tbh. :)

Ever heard the phrase "there is no knowledge that is not power"? Kinda the same rule applies to quests in my logic.

 

 

 

One day you may need this quest as a prequiste for another quest. Look at Rocking Out, how many people moaned that the requirements were too high? The fact of the matter is they'd had plenty of time to gather the required levels but instead chose to train other skills, merchant, or do other stuff.

 

 

 

The fact the XP rewards are not useful and it doesn't unlock any other items shouldn't stop you from doing it. It's obviously pretty short, so whats the harm in putting aside 30-60 mins now, rather than when you need it.

Is a quest all about the new items gotten? I remember all those [cabbage]ty quests I did back then with no item rewards.

One of the 7, at random, will tell you about someone marrying into the fitzharmon family and taking their name. This person is Diminthesis. Once you get that message, you can straight to him and complete the zombie route.

Definitely a sub par quest. A lot of story, but nothing big.

During the invasion, if you read the museum display case in which the shield was stored, you'll find something pretty amusing.

Look back of EVERY quets in rs anything that has been hoped tht exact opposite happens.

 

 

 

Not to mention the fact one of the most outstanding hints for quest 150 was the dangers at the 4 compass points.

 

 

 

Now the biggest danger in the north is the mahjaraat were anthankos & Enakra (enakra's lament), Azzandra (desetr treasure), Hazeel (hazeel's cult), Lucien (temple of ikov), Zemergoul all now gone now these guys are 6 of the 9 mahjaraat we know of.

 

Number 7 is silske the serpant tongued, we know little about him but the lroes imply he controls the corrupted barrows brothers so popualr belief suggests he is near there whihc means he could be with Draken or the hissing thing we heard in the rag and bone mans sack. Equally it is possibly he is the snake man in draynor sewers

 

Number 8 is Draken himself, the vampire lord of morytanina. Which conveniently is the big danger in the east and a danger which is working towards breaking the magic of the salve and guthixian edicts to allow the morytanina's to cross

 

Number 9 is the one and only Zamorak also known as the empty lord. The very same empty lord who's apparent sun (Iban) we killed in the east and that the mourner elves of the east are trying to summon back to this world.

 

 

 

Shockingly now we have the mahjaratt story penetrating 3 of 4 compass points which almsot single handed fills the hint oif the 4 compasses we have for quest 150.

 

 

 

But WAIT during the last gnome quest was it not foretold we would march NORTH against a great threat and hmmm of all the major story lines the gnomes are the most southern based, plus the fore telling spoke of 8. Given that zamorak betrayed Zaros that means there would be 8 mahjaratt against him and/or us.

 

 

 

Now we have the mahjaratt linked into 4 compass points of danger.

 

 

 

Throw in the splattering of quests that are giving us more and more knowledge of the godwars, the origins of magic, the stone of jas and how guthix ended it and all of a sudden we are developing a vast knowledge that would be useful in defeated a mahjaratt threat.

 

 

 

Take all that into account and consider how epic a quest that would require to tell then say its highly unlikely we wont see zemergoul again in quest 150...

Ectofundus is better option to level prayer now? :o
