The drops are random, as I said, my mate killed some guy in 50m+ armour and he only got a steel chainbody.

Its like staking in duels, but with much greater returns for the hugely added risk.

It's not a glitch, that's why I said "every fight is like a deathmatch".

 

 

 

I think it's to stop people running out banks, spec-ing then running into banks (thus being safe).

Well you can only be attacked in a bank for 10 seconds, but it does something about them people who run from every single fight. Which if I was a pker, would be pretty annoyed at.

that is not a glitch when you run in a save zone you see a timer running and you can stil be attacked for 10 seconds after that 10 seconds you cannont be attack anymore

People still fighting inside banks isn't a glitch. It's to stop people from instantly safing by running into a bank. There's a 10 second countdown from when you enter the bank to when you're forced to stop attacking. Slight punishment for running away. (BTW, second floors of banks aren't safe ;) )

Things just get really annoying if people sit on the edge of areas and run in when they're about too die - makes it really hard to kill anyone. Then they eat run out and attack you again.

 

We tried it like that on our test servers before putting in the 10 second thing and it was generally agreed that it really doesn't feel like good gameplay.

 

 

 

There's so many safe areas as well because of all the banks it would make for an easy escape in most of the world - in the old wildy unless you lurked on the very edge you had a pretty long run to a safe area - much longer than 10 seconds.

 

 

 

That's actually why we had multiple spider webs on the front door of the mage arena to slow people running into the safe zone.

 

Putting spider webs on every bank in Runescape didn't seem like a practical solution though.

 

 

 

If you want to run away then you need to try and do so a bit earlier. - 10 seconds isn't all that long - pretty much 3 rounds of combat for most pking weapon speeds. (In runescape classic you couldn't even run away at all until you had 3 rounds of combat)

This looks to be a very nice update to runescape....however i cant play runescape for a few months -.-

Not entirely pleased with the new looks of the combat (95+8 etc) but my word this is a great update! Ashame I suck in combat skills, but it is a reason for me to train combat (about time I did too).

 

 

 

People's drops I've seen have been much more 'freely' then I would. I just hope this gives RuneScape the boost I needs, that is for the publicity and the economy.

Looks great, although people are yelling "PVP SUCKS!!". All they've been doing since BH came out is complaining about removal of wild. Now they get it back, and they whine again. Oh well, that's Runescape in a nutshell.

I am really excited about the consequences for F2P PK'ing. Because, you know, we get dragon daggers and scimitars, even though they only last for 30 minutes.

It'll be sunday night when I get unbanned and try this out, which is probably for the best because some of the one itemers will get tired by then. Update looks promising, but the new combats look rubbish, I dont want my combat to be (124 + 12).

I never was a PK'r but now I may do a bit of PK'ing. Especially since last year I have teleblock and some nice melee stats.

I hope the corrupt dragon drops are pretty common, else those F2P specs will be a rare sight.

I wish I had one of them weapons now, I'd go f2p and go lesser demons or something and use them. People who don't read updates will be like "omg hacker reported" :D

 

 

 

And about what I said earlier about the price, I just actually checked the price and they're basically the same as normal ones =/

 

Half an hour is more than enough time to earn back like 30k.
