Jenove
hey all little topic on THE RING What do you guys think, suddenly a little ring became most usefull for f2p because you no longer needed to walk from lumby or faldor so u can get to karamaja. Suddenly when you are fishing lobs u can just tele to draynor and save tons of time. Or when you are training it makes 3 slots availible for food insted of tele runes. I think its made a BIG impact on F2p, What do you Guys think? (NO idea on impact for p2p hope someone posts)
Yomyth105
its great for f2p and there is really no need to make a topic on this. This update happened awhile ago and we made previous discussions on this. It's like me saying how putting a bank on top of lumby castle is so useful. But it does save them money and gives them a bit of free experience. ladycai
You'd actually be surprised how much that helps. Call me a nerd or whatever, but I usually record how much xp I get per day in whatever skills (and total level + cash by the end of the day). I did this with my pure low alching by the ring, he has gained about 8k xp O.O Of course 8k mage xp for a dude w/ lvl 52 mage and 8k for a lvl 98 mage is completely different. Each lil bit helps. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]

Ouchy
I love the Explorer's Ring. It is good for everything, such as Rune Crafting, Running, Teleporting, Alching, and Stat Bonuses. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

Pinkbullet3
Is there a charge on it or anything? 30 low alchs. 3 run energy recharges. (Here's the best part...) UNLIMITED amount of Cabbage Patch Teleports (or as I call it, 'CPTs'). :) I'm still not sure when the whole ring recharges. Quite a few days I've noticed it recharges at 7pm U.S. central time (-6). Still not sure though. ^ Blog.

basiliko
The Cabbage Teleport is most useful, it saved me few times in wildy, when I am fleeing from Revenants near lvl 30 wildy. Often just a brush away from death. The Haraguroi Club: Where Yandere Thrive for Chopping
Doomster
Air rune crafting: I tried Draynor bank - cabbage - Air altar - cabbage - Draynor bank, and it seemed to be a little quicker than going from Falador. Another tip, from equipped, the teleport has an interruptible dialog, but from Inventory, it can be held ready on a right click menu which is not interruptible. I used all 3 charges at about 4pm today for my daily tree farming run (west coast U.S. btw) and then when I logged in again at 5:30pm it said "Your charges are back" or whatever message pops up telling you when it's recharged. Zaaps1
That's because the Explorer Ring recharges at the same time everyday. About 8 or 9 EST, so that's like 2 GMT. Things like Battlestaves and Pineapples also restock at that time. ~It's Super Effective! NJE03
Definitely one of the better items F2P has received. Previously the ring slot was useless because no enchanted rings were F2P anyways (no stat bonus). Now we have this ring which exceeded my expectations and I use on a daily basis whether it be for running to GE and restoring stamina, or alching a low reward from a random event. Very useful item.
