April 6, 201115 yr Made my way through the first bunch of snes/gb zelda games, now confused about whether I should wait until ocarina of time becomes available on the 3ds to beat that game.
April 6, 201115 yr I'm replaying DA:O as a human Noble dual wielding Rougue. I'm only at lothering right now, but I have to say, damn i'm rich for that point, 36 gold. Or maybe i've just always been really poor at that point in the game. I have beaten Jak III now, and then tried replaying it on hero mode, much better on the racing challenges now but the lizard race with the monks is still annoying. I think i'm in front, and then the 3 monks, which always stay right behind me, get a sudden boost of speed and move faster than I can at max speed. When they jump through a ring, it knocks me back and they all pass me. If one of the monks wants the spot i'm in, they can just push me aside I miss a ring and lose, but I have to go around them, if I try to do that, I just get stuck behind them. Or in one case, I get stuck IN them. I think how I won the first time, is that I lost enough, the monks went extremely slow so I could. I don't get how FAQs get that you are much faster than the monks. They always stay right on your ass and pass you easily. That's another one of my complaints about the game, a lot of the ring challenges. Often they will have you doing a ring challenge in an area that you have never been to, and if you miss one ring they start you over from the beginning. In Jak II they started giving you ring challenges like that about the midpoint of the game, when you knew the layout of the city decently. Finally, my last complaint, the gun courses. There are only two required to beat the game, but they're tough for me to get through. My main complaint is that if you start it, you can't quit until you win. I don't know what they changed internally from Jak II to Jak III but it was significantly worse. They took out most of the escort missions and button pressing minigames, for ring challenges and [bleep]ed up the camera. Nobody likes that many ring challenges. I shouldn't be passing through more rings than Superman 64. Anyway if you couldn't tell, I gave up on hero mode after the leaper race. I need to browse thenexus and see if there are any good mods for DA:O. I don't really have the money to spare for DA2. Ponies!

I don't really have the money to spare for DA2.I haven't looked hard, but the ones that are worth getting are the ones that fix whatever bugs there are. The only one I'm currently using adds the ancient elven boots to Bodahn's shop, and before my comp failed I had one that added some armor pieces that wouldn't appear in Awakening to the Silverite Mine. Bioware's got a section for mods and modders as well, it might be worth looking there too. I painted some stuff and put it on tumblr

The main ones I've seen are about items not appearing, namely the ancient elven boots and that one black set of light armor in Awakening, and Vigilance having the wrong model if you have Soldier's Peak on. April 18, 201115 yr Bought a PS3 160GB slim system and my first game is Killzone 3. I'm not sure if i picked a good first game but I'm going to look for Infamous and see if I like it because Infamous 2 is upcoming. Does anyone know if thats a wise choice? I read its an open world game sandbox type of game which I enjoy. Also, was Killzone 3 a wise choice? I haven't gotten to play it yet considering I have homework piling up.

Lol'ing at how you judge games by their graphics. Sure, graphics do factor in to a games quality, but you can't judge a game only by how it looks. April 19, 201115 yr Graphics factor in very minimally for me. Above all, story is what needs to be good for a good game. Currently, I'm playing GTA: San Andreas, got it because I felt like playing it randomly, now I'm considering a 100% run. Realised I only needed bronze medals in schools (mainly Flight school, always had problems with flying on that game) for 100%, so I'm considering it. #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod
