Print or Cursive?

Featured Replies

I learned how to write cursive in 3rd and 4th grade. I've never used it since, and I've mostly forgotten how to.

I usually use a mix of print and cursive; basically print but the letters are sort of blended together. But if I have to be neat I write in standard print.

Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

Just for discussion sake, here's what my handwriting looks like when rushed. When not rushed its only a little bit cleaner.

Trust me, if that was lined paper it would be better eh?

The only difference it would make would be that the capital letters would be marginally bigger. It would still be a rollercoaster ride.

If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".

The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".

Amen, brother

Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)

amen Bruder! (german ftw)

That's impossible.

i'm not sure if anyone does this but when i print my name, i always put the G in my last name in cursive.

That made me realize I cross my "I"s but not my "J"s. Weird.

I learned cursive in third grade, we had to use it in fifth grade. Sixth grade came, and I was 100% back to print. I write fast enough with print, and my letters usually end up being connected with faint lines, just not the normal cursive way.

Print as in writing in print or typing? Because there's a huge difference in the sophistication level. The best is always to print in a computer because of it's sheer awesomeness. Second is cursive because it's incredibly sexy, and finally printing by hand. If you're goong to write a resume, print it off the computer. Handwriting it makes it look like you did it at the last minute and just used cursive to make it fancy.

tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :(
But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities.
That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.

Apparently a lot of people say it. I own.

http://linkagg.com/ Not my site, but a simple, budding site that links often unheard-of websites that are amazing for usefulness and fun.

I can do both quite easily, and my cursive is beautiful, but I prefer Print. It's just how i've always written. However if I have to do a signature or something I use cursive.

I write only in print, but I sign my name in cursive. It has been a long time since I have used cursive for writing anything besides my name, and I have forgotten a lot of the letters.

IF a majoirty of us are bad at cursive then why the hell they teach us it!? My cursive isn't that bad, I've barely used it though so it problely grown out of me.

My print bad too, strangely, my 'a' and 'o' always look the same when its at the end of a word, for example...uh....Mayo

Don't you know the first rule of MMO's? Anyone higher level than you has no life, and anyone lower than you is a noob.

People in OT eat glass when they are bored.

I do a mix of both. My hand just flows when I'm writing really...

I use cursive for school assignments, printing for nearly everything else.

I think you should type it :|

It's middle school, they really don't care at this level.

I tried writing in cursive a few days ago... and I can't remember what half the letters are supposed to look like. Pretty sad.

You're not alone. Every 3 years or so I'm brought back to cursive and I learn it again only to forget it the next day.

Ranger Boot Count: 1

Print everything except my name when things need to be signed. Even then it sucks. I was taught how to write in cursive properly in 3rd grade and promptly forgot how to. Honestly I hate cursive and can't read it when people write in it. But I type papers and crap like that because otherwise my handwriting gets really bad.

my handwriting is basically connected print. my hand hardly ever leaves the page.
