It is a fun minigame but I already won it all so there is little incentive to continue it. This was easier than the great orb project tbh.

About 85k is my record. Of course most people are idiots at this stage so doesnt count for much. I doubt I shaw play again after today..or use the stuff lol.

Fun though... lasted a couple of hours? #-o

I cant get the epic fail part. For me the void armor is epic fail for a mini game but still it is pretty popular and used.

stop saying such things , as far as i see there are a lot of ppl playing the game, they still manage to keep it popular, so no - its not an epic fail.

what did you expect - 30 minutes or a hour playing the game and hop you have the super duper uber reward.

There are currently a lot of people playing because it's new. In a couple weeks, it will be deserted like the vast majority of other minigames.

the main idea of the mini games is an adition to the game , another way to train something. not the main metod. so its close to think that they will not be popular , its not their goal ... they are a way to kill the time without wasting it so much - the rewards are there so you can think - eh I played it few hour but what the heck i still got something not completly useless.

I think the armour could be useful.

If one was going on a quest of moderate difficulty with no quest guide yet available, and knew he/she was going to a fight, the armour would be perfect, as the person would most likely not know what type of combat style to expect the oppoent to fight with.

The weapon part..eh...not as useful. :P

The tool could easily be used for questing in the above situation too.

So...f2p can't get the broom back?

The minigame is fun, really fun. But the rewards are worthless. The items degrade so they aren't of much use. The armor is subordinate to their barrows equivalents.

I think the word "epic" is used way too much lately.

Epically True.

OT: Should be good fun for a day or two while lots of people are trying it out. And might not hurt to 'bank' some points (or whatever rewards there are) so that if they upgrade the stuff you can buy with them, you've got some already waiting.

This is the best game since Castle Wars imo. I hope it's not abandoned like Trouble Brewing. This gives me a reason to get 80 smithing as well. 8-)

Pointless armour, it's 100% exactly the same as having Rune/Spined/Skeletal (not sure about Skeletal), however, I guess it's easier carrying/wielding 1 set of armour than it is carrying 3.

Only 1 flaw I can see (other than there being no real boost) the staff is stronger than the scimitar... and the same speed

Just so I'm not mistaken the scimitar reward is basically a members rune scim which degrades?

It only degrades if you convert it into a staff or bow, as far as I can tell, i'll give the game a bash once I've done my work for uni.

I have to say, I wasnt exited when i first saw this in the behind the scenes.

When the game timer kept reseting (glitch), I was even less exited about it.

I tried it via using the clan mode and I have to say... Jagex really impressed me.

I absolutely love this minigame. <3:

Awesome job on it.

Currently have 3 tests to study for so my vid of the minigame is thin, but here it is.

They need to make these have no defence requirement.

Just because you choose to go against the grain doesn't mean they have to cater to you.

I agree, the minigame is very fun and worth playing a few times. Where it is lost though is the fact that there is no real reward to the game. I am a skiller and the tools really offer me nothing with their boost experience.

A farming thing would have been nice though... as well as the obvious exp reward that is not there.

Pures can wear the Mage and Range but not the Melee, if you try changing it to Melee it'll probably say a message saying; You cannot wield that item, you need Level 40 Defence. Or, it'll just unequip.
