Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien

Featured Replies

I think the fortress in Tiranwynn has to play in here, somehow.

While I agree that the Dragonkin fortress is in Northeast Wildy, perhaps some opposing force is locked in Tiranwynn. This massive, hidden Crystal Palace is clearly guarding some secrets closely held by the elves, a race which is completely secluded and inaccessible to most.

Nowhere is there more abundant life, greener grass, or a more harmonious existence between flora and fauna. What could they be protecting in those castle walls, the furthest possible geographic distance from that NorthWest Wilderness?

I think that Guthix Himself lies in the Crystal Palace, hidden furthest from the Dragonkin. Does anyone have any pictures from outside their palace?

I don't think so. The Elves worship Seren, the Crystal Goddess, so they have no reason to hospitalize another god, especially knowing their attitude toward outsiders.

But yeah, something big's gotta be in there. Remember the Wise Old Man's plot to break into the city? Why would he want to do so otherwise?

in the picture of the strange door in the godwarsdungeon (got this pic from daynuh who posted this before, hope he/she won't mind i use it) you can see four symbols. Three of them are likely god signs, but the fourth...(the one right under) looks like a bird to me...

Could this possibly be connected with the dragonkin...as they look like vultures...and the symbol is of an flying bird....maybe they are behind this door...or maybe they can open it...seems to me they are somehow related to this door...

But i could be so wrong to #-o :^o

Hope to hear some more thoughts about it!!

I've just noticed some similarities between Seren and Guthix.

-Both gods brought creatures through a portal, in hope that they would prosper.

-Both gods are of nature. Seren lives in all the crystals.

-They both vanished at around the same time.(citation needed)

Also, Seren was the only god not banished to the god realm, and is in fact in the spirit of a crystal tree in Prifddinas.

I believe Seren and Guthix have are alot closer than we first imagined.(I think Guthix has a crush on Seren :) )

I doubt that Prifddinas has anything to do with the Kin.

The city was closed off by the Iorwerth Clan, Zamorakian Elves I believe during the 4th Age.

When the elves started to explore past the borders of the Arandar mountains, the warrior elves led by King Baxtorian (the source of the name of the Baxtorian Falls), left the Elven lands to the West to create ties with other races. In their absence, the Iorwerth Clan took Prifddinas and have not allowed anyone in, including elves, since.

There are no Gods in Gielinor as the Edicts of Guthix removed all of them from having direct intervention with mortals. Guthix is asleep and I speculate that he is not in our world either though he very well maybe. This includes Seren who can only speak to the Elves through the Tower of Voices.

That symbol (that looks like a bird) right under Zamorak's, is Armadyl's; The same symbol that's on the Arma Godsword.

Isn't the bird just the symbol of Armadyl? Thus respresenting all of the four gods present in the God Wars.

that would be it then...it was just an option....

I am afterall an f2p runescaper....so i don't know all the stories and places

sha_ar_kyl.png

Whilst walking the dog, and thinking about runescape (how sad..) I had a thought. The Dragonkin were once the enslaved protecters of the Stone of Jas, if they used it's power to become almighty strong they could have had more than one stronghold.

It would explain the symbols in the Wilderness and the supposed presence of the Stone of Jas in Morytania.

Also any talk concerning the Elves can just fly out of the window, i'm not exactly sure why it was a requirement, possibly just to prove that you're up to the challenge..

asrhasrh.jpg

In my opinion getting 270 qp is enough to prove you're worthy. The requirements of all the quests show some connections to it- the sequel will tell us what the connections are.

So where are kins? They are not in morytania, not in ancient cavern..and there is not place in wilderness..

there could be in anywhere ... they can always add a hidden dungeon/cave ... so they could be literally under our noses ...

This I noticed:

See "evil bird spirits of the east". This can mean two things:

A) They're from Morytania, as you predicted.

B) BTS December:

Since our graphical update earlier in the year, weve been playing around with a variety of new haircuts for the game. Weve now gathered around 20 new styles and will be releasing them during December to the free and members games. These new hairdos include some rather interesting styles inspired by AkHaranu, a visitor from the unexplored eastern realms. Perhaps next year will unearth more fashions from these interesting folk? Only time will tell...

Amazing, quality thread. We need more of these on the forums :D .

Thanks for your research, was quite an interesting read. Especially because I like, and do, ALL quests.

I hope JAGeX doesn't make any contradictions in the general storyline of RuneScape. That would be terrible :o

You liked ratcatchers? (agreed on all other quests)

I wonder what theyll do next if this whole majharrat/dragonkin/jas storyline finishes (if it will that is), there arent that many hidden clues to other storylines, especially not ones as old as dragonslayer (cabbage of j--). Or we may have missed most of them ofcourse.

Gah! That was the worst quest EVER!

Anyways.... if the Dragonkin/Stone of Jas storyline ever finishes, it will be the elder-gods who finish it

anyway,

dragonkin might indeed come from the eastern lands, wyrms(ancestors of dragons and the thing the dragonkin actually made) look like a asian dragon but if they did come from the eastern lands when did they came hear and when did they return, and why?

I personally thought they for sure resided in the castle in the northeastern wild (well they still probably did at one point).

But this ALMOST PROVES they are or were in Morytania.

I have found something after reading through the quest log from While Guthix Sleeps after doing the quest.

It says that Jas enslaved the Dragonkin to guard the Stone of Jas.

Also something concerning Hazelmere (spoiler warning):

[hide=]At the end of Path of Glouphrie, during his prophecy, he says the following: "Of the eight, only two shall return; one represents the path of Slayer and one the path of the warrior. This might have been different, but I have made my choice, and it is up to you to prove that I made the right one."

Right before he dies in While Guthix Sleeps he says that he still holds on to that choice. He could have survived but he didn't because of that choice. So what was that choice?[/hide]

And yes, I've heard of Darkmeyer, but I think that would involve the Drakan family instead of the Dragonkin.

Nice find!

Can you quote exactly what it says in the WGS quest log. About Jas (Jas Himself?) enslaving the Dragonkin.

And ya Hazelmere had the chance to escape with his Grand Tree tele thing (Just like in Path of Glouphire) from Lucien's slaughter, but choose not to.

Sorry if i'm a bit out of it, but who is Darkmeyer? :wall:

Go back a few pages, I was the original one to post this, with a screenshot from the quest, take a look, it's pretty

omg i just thought of something. i was making a skiller a while ago when they had the guy down it the house in lumbridge and u had to kill a goblin and what not. but the important part is there was a 3 headed dragon in the "lair" as the knight called it so maby we will have a threat from there. also maby that lair is the dragonkins lair because you can not go very far in it.

Could be both.

Remember the land Zaros had under his control? It stretched from the Digsite all the way to Edgeville.

Maybe the Dragonkin also had a lot of empire, stretching from what we now know as Meiyerditch to the unnamed ruins in deep wilderness.

I'm back after a couple of wild days (*sigh*) to post some new stuff.

To start off with the GWD frozen door: an interesting thing about it is that the symbols light up if you wear something from the god wich the symbol represent, but the door still won't budge.

Now about Prifddinas: though it is still unlikely that the Dragonkin could reside there, the KBD did mention something about a seal. From the plague city quest soryline we know that the library in it is sealed off (with 9 seals, of wich 1 has been broken). Could be a link.

revelation.jpg

This cleerly points out that somehow Zamorak used the Stone of Jas to become a God. But we thought untill now that he just used the Staff of Armadyl and Zaros's power to become one. Any idea's?

That was just a temporary tuturial that jagex made but did not keep. Other than that,I beleive it has no signifigance. But, I really wish i coulda killed that thing :wall:
