Party Hat - My dilemma

Hi tipiters

Last week a friend came round to find me scaping. At first I thought that this would probably mean that he would tell me how weird I was being, but instead he said oh I used to play this game. He continued by showing me his bank, "which is just aload of old junk" and happened to contain a purple party hat. As you can imagine I was stunned. I asked him where he got it and he said a friend had given it to him. I went on to explain that he was ridiculously rich, but he didn't really care and he offered me his account.

What I want to know is as at the moment I have a reasonable account and I have put so much time and effort in, but I am being offered an account that contains 90m which is over 15 times the amount I have at the mo. Which 1 do I do. I don't want to play both but I can't decide which 1.

Help!!!!!

Thanks to Kadad06 my cousin who got me hooked on this awesome game.

Well, it is not allowed by Jagex rules to transfer accounts between people. That would make your choice easier.

What do you want, a character which is not as rich, but created yourself, of an account with 90M just like that.

I'd choose the first, since I like the satisfaction of having done everything on the account by MYSELF.

Do not take the character. It can and will result in it being banned or even stolen back, and may even have repercussions on your current account as well.

I am glad you all think the same. I had thought it would be awesome to have so much money but to lose all the memories I have of my old account would be aweful. Also it wouldn't really be an achievement if I say got a godsword or full dragon etc. If there weren't any trading bans I would trade it but as there are it will have to be left alone.

Three months banishment to 9gag is something i would never wish upon anybody, not even my worst enemy.

if its an irl friend take the account and make use of the money anyway you can obviously you cant talk about trading money over although it should be legal as you would own both accounts. rwt is not involved in this issue just jagex stupid rules on the matter.

I'd sell everything #2 has, hold a party in the party room with all that cash, then go there with #1 (my own) and try to get stuff. If I manage to nick a few mil (or perhaps 10mil) with a little luck, I'd both be richer and almost all legal. Alternatively, I'd just play on #2 if the person was trustworthy.

Sell the stuff on his account. Do PVP on each other with him loosing with 25k in inventory. Eventually you'll have tons of money and items on your account, and his stuff is gone, and "transfered" legally to your account.

Dragon drops: 82 (2 claws)

Dagannoth kings drops: 73

Barrows item count: 51

GWD drops: 54 (5 hilts: 1x bandos, 3x saradomin, 1x zamorak)

Whips: 4

Sigils: 1x spectral (FFA), 1x arcane (FFA)

Yes, you should do that. It wouldn't be counted as RWT, as you legally own both accounts now. 1337 & Mollypop ftl.

sell the stuff on your friends. then take all money and go to an empty world. (or almost empty) take 20 friends or so to help you so you dont die. then go into bh and kill him. take all the money and wait for pick-up penalty to be over. voila. its risky...but im gonna try it with my friends account. he might give me his. with like 2m and full v.

it's funny how all the ways to trade wealth are coming out with 90 mill on the line--especially with 90 mill on the line

everyone has a price

leave the other account alone, and pretend it didn't exist. Get the money yourself and you will feel better for it.

Besides, transfering 90 mill is bannable, and if your friend never told you about it, you would of never known

Sell the hat, then start transfering the cash to your account bit by bit (takes a long while :P)

hadn't already ruined that part of rs by making jagex impliment trade limits. I hope none of you jack [wagon] were whining when they did it.

Keep your character, forget the 'rich' one.

It is considered RWT, but they almost never catch you.

Forget the partyhat and play your own character.

While i was quit a few years ago someone managed to convince Jagex they were me and they played on my character for a while even having the cheek to hold level up parties. How someone can have the nerve to have a party shocasing the levels and wealth of a character that they didn't even train astounds me.

The game isn't just about levels and money its about you as the person and how you play. I am just glad that the Mercifull name was never tarnished by this persons actions.

By breaking the rules and using your friends account you have abandoned who you were for coin and that is sad.

Sorry to break it to you, but this is just a game.
