Me personally, well, I guess I'm open to suggestions. Only thing that I'm certain about is that I don't like science or math. Everything else, History, Language (I have considered translating for the military), Writing, proffessional sports ( :roll: ), Acting........I'm keeping my options open :wink:

My Arabic Is still struggling, it's a very tough language to learn, and I'm having very little success, which is disgusting me..

This summer I did some hospital volunteering and really liked it, got to sit in on some surgeries and watch a baby be born by c section. Now I'd really like to be a surgeon but the school is a killer. the main reason I didnt want to do it at first was the thought of all the blood, but when I was in the surgery I was fine.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

but before wanting to be a surgeon I kinda wanted to be an architect or movie director. My dad kinda killed the director dream by repeating "you need a good degree to fall back on then you can do what ever you want" :roll:

What I'd most like to be is a small town only 1 church pastor :)

 

 

 

I don't know what God has in store for me, but I'm headin straight for Bible school as soon as I graduate. The Bible school my dad teaches at, too.

I want to be a dentist :P My uncle is a dentist and he could help me get a clinic, I could also volenteer as a denist for poor people a day or two a week.

Science teacher. But next year i have to chose which i want, highschool, or middle school. If high school, i have to take alot more courses. the thing with computer jobs is that most are under contracts...which do not guarantee security...until u get a job working for the government...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

the job market in that field is still pretty high...i mean...my dad works for contractors....usually ends up losing his job after the contract runs out...reapplies...gets a new job within a week....its mainly the security

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and if u have a college diploma..ull have no problem...isnt it sad wat that piece of paper does even though more than half the people with 1 dont know that much about that field?

My dream is to work with chimpanzees and study their cognitive abilities. :D This would mean I could talk to chimpanzees in sign language. Washoe, here I come!! (Washoe was the first chimpanzee to be taught sign language. Roger Fouts, my hero, is working with her still today :D)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If that doesn't work out, I'd like to be a mathematics teacher maybe, or an English teacher, or maybe just do neuroscience-team-development work for some chemical company. We'll see :D

That's speculation. Contract work is generally reserved for those who work for companies which create custom software solutions for clients and such similar situations. But even then you still have a full-time job working for your company.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Only other option I see is just general contract work where they only need a person for a set period of time.

I actually wrote an essay on that to a point. The general output in the world of jobs is:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Experience + Degree > Expreience > Degree > Highschool > Nothing

Can I just chip in quickly and say that working for the Government isnt as great as it sounds. lol

I want to be an RAF fighter pilot in the future. Our family has had a big military background, yet no one has been a pilot. I want to see the world, through war or peace. I just dont see myself working as a civilian.

Well I started bagpipes awhile ago, and I really like it, so here's what I want to be: a pipe major in a pipe band, a piper in a celtic rock band, a piping instructor, a piper for weddings, a piper for funerals, possible a bagpipe maker, and pretty much anything related to bagpipes all at once.

A job that I would like to have is to work for the FBI, or an intelligence agency similar to it. I would be able to help protect my country and make a decent living out of it. I read somewhere that the FBI would be losing a large percentage of its current workforce due to elder employees retiring, so that job market hopefully will have enough room to fit me in.
