January 4, 200917 yr Drag skirt and legs are the same def and one was 700k cheaper when I wore it... I feel sorry for all those so insecure with their masculinity they have to completely WASTE 500k (remembers when I wore drag skirt) (tries to remember why I made this thread when I have not heard this comment in months)
January 4, 200917 yr Some people buy items for looks instead of cost efficiency. Hence the demand for Rares, 3rd Age, and Dragon.
January 4, 200917 yr Well, if no one cared about looks why dosent runescape end up like nethack, with everyone looking like an @ symbol or something. Sorry, but almost every game with graphics, lots of people play, and pay for looks, hence trimmed armor, rare items, so on. Incase you don't know nethack was a really really old text based RPG. O.O

January 4, 200917 yr Good rant. I hate this too. I'm not dishing out 500k more just to have legs. If you think less of me for not wasting my money, then nothing else needs be said. You're an idiot. Metal fans, check out my band!Still the King....
January 4, 200917 yr I wear a dragon skirt for 90% of my slayer tasks and i'm a guy 1. They're cheaper 2. They look better 3. The price is less likely to fluctuate 4. It's cheap to have a placeholder in your bank 5. Dragon legs look ugly Well there's my 2 cents, i've rarely been insulted about wearing a skirt anyway - so have nothing to rant about. If someone comments ingame they obviously have nothing better to say... I ignore list Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!
January 4, 200917 yr skirts were orinnally for males, the only reason pants became popular is because of horses, not many horses in scotland that is why the kilt is popular there, no horses in runescape...why not wear a skirt to let in the cool breeze ay? ]
January 5, 200917 yr i would never perfer skirts over legs. (they're like .25 kg lighter, so what?) legs just stands out more and its natural that men wear legs because more outfits can go with it.
January 5, 200917 yr Uhh, REAL MEN WEAR SKIRTS! NAY! Real men wear KILTS! If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased. The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?
January 5, 200917 yr I remember when Legs are 2.55m each and Skirts were 600k. That, I could understand somewhat. You're saving like 2m.. But 700k? If you wear a Dragon Skirt, you look really really poor. Thanks to all those who have messaged me concerning a revamp of my Range-Slayer guide. Because of you all I will start rewriting it asap.[/color] Formerly RobinHoodie.

January 5, 200917 yr i personally wear dragon legs because im a guy and imo it looks a bit better. even with the extra price you can still sell them back and get your money back so it dosent really make to much of a difference. Gamertag: EFs Predator.Games I play: Halo 3, Halo wars.

January 5, 200917 yr I wouldn't buy either of them, only wear my skirt because I got it from a drop. If you could put dragon in your house I'd probably buy legs, but skirt it is for me.
January 5, 200917 yr Yeah, its only a skirt who cares, if a godsword was 50m and a same powerd weapon looked like a shoe and was 50k, what would everyone buy ;) same concept, large scale.
January 5, 200917 yr Yeah, its only a skirt who cares, if a godsword was 50m and a same powerd weapon looked like a shoe and was 50k, what would everyone buy ;) same concept, large scale. shoe is funny as hell though, i'm sure tons of people would buy that also because it would catch people off guard. the real question is, if it makes you seem to be emulating someone of the opposite gender, will you buy it? that's the fear around men wearing skirts it seems. would you weild the pink godsword?
January 6, 200917 yr Better yet, cheer leading baton godswords. Or pom pom's Etc. And its a very different concept, 50 mill 50k yea right. Its more than large scale, its idiotic scale. O.O
January 6, 200917 yr There is something very ironic in buying a Dragon skirt. You argue that money and stats is worth more than appearance in a video game but... Why buy Dragon then? Barrow far outdoes the stats, at the same cost. And please don't argue about repairs, as it only costs ~5k per hour in normal combat, PLUS you save food, which will sometimes add up far more than 5k. If you don't care, go for a Barrows skirt. [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]

January 6, 200917 yr Meh, just change your character to a girl. I'd pay 3k to get rid of said noobs any day.

If you don't care, go for a Barrows skirt. Eh, it's only relevant to the people with 60-69 defence, o'course. I find it ridiculous that people spend extra money on d legs "for looks" and then go and wear it with stuff like fighter torso/rune plate/granite plate that clash horribly with the red d legs. If you care so much about looks, you should be using a d chain at least, right? Or people who use d legs with rune boots instead of dragon because they're too poor to spend 300k on +2 strength, or something...so why did you spend 500k on +0 strength? -.- On the bright side, at least it's hopefully moot when they hit 70 defence, if they ever bother to train that far in the first place.
