Whew! (it's been some time since my last post.)

 

 

 

 

 

Runescape, being a world of fantasy by nature, is comprised of some pleasantly out-of-this-world elements. I'd like to know though; would you agree with me if I were to say that certain things found throughout the game are a bit too ridiculous?

 

 

 

Yep, there are some aspects of RuneScape I would be quick to remove because of this. However, I lack that kind of power. As a result, I choose to ignore and painfully pretend the things which stray too far from my imagination don't exist.

 

 

 

Why do I feel the way I do about them? Well, to me, some are just plain stupid!

 

My examples

 

-The entire penguin saga going on; pengin spys, and especially their KBG-esque organization.

 

-Certain summoning familiars- especially that evil turnip and compost mound

Aspects of the game which require defence are on my ignore list.

I choose to ignore the Mining skill. :thumbup:

i ignore all the small tasks you can do every day.

 

and i ignore most of the non-cb skills aswell :lol:

I try like the [bleep]ens to ignore Runecrafting and Construction but they haunt me. :twisted:

runecrafting and mining. thats rite. i pwn all u nubs in enjoying the "boring skills"...they fun actually. good time killers since i dont pk or kill monsters for money (slayer). just a good way to pass the time while i wait for MTK to update. plus mining is going to be my first 99.

Other things I ignore are :the desert, that place below Shilo, hard quests, the troll area, Morytania, Dorgesh-Kaaan, Keldagrim, and other things... which I'm ignoring as we speak :o!

 

 

 

Also, penguins are the 2nd funniest aspect of the game in my opinion. 1st is the dwarf quest... they're so odd... MUST EAT KEHAB!

I can definitely relate.

 

 

 

Now that I think of it, I also try to ignore chinchompas. The concept of animal grenades is something I find to be way too ridiculous. The way hunting is set up in general, too.

I really don't see how ppl don't like rc. compared to other money making methods it's the easiest IMO. u don't need to worry about dying or anything. now, if it was training rc u guys despise, I can see that. but training a skill and making money are two very different things

Farming. Worst skill in the world. I dont count it as a skill. I hate it.

TBH merching is WAY easier then RC, and RC was better years ago, when you could actually make good profit.

On topic: I ignore every combat minigame, with the exception of Stealing Creation (although I only skill in there :thumbsup: ) Combat takes way too much preparation.

I ignored hunter and summoning for very long, but i have recently taken up hunter so now its only summoning that remains at 1.

Firemaking. I dont even count it as a skill, i mean, cmon, you have to LEARN to put something on fire? Now thats just ridiculous.

I ignore the numerous terribad jokes and puns.
