Shiny
I'm really looking for some fun games - mostly RPGs (old) to run a fairly slow system. These are really just to keep me entertained - For my PC btw. Radeon X300 512mb graphic card Intel Pentium 4 processor 512MB of RAM 40gb of space free. Anything good? Nadril
I'm really looking for some fun games - mostly RPGs (old) to run a fairly slow system. These are really just to keep me entertained - For my PC btw. Radeon X300 512mb graphic card Intel Pentium 4 processor 512MB of RAM 40gb of space free. Anything good? Baldur's Gate I / II Neverwinter Nights (I only) Icewind Dale I / II Planescape: Torment System Shock 2 (FPS but it has a lot of RPG elements which are amazing, it's the precursor to Bioshock) Titan Quest (Decent diablo clone and more recent) Fallout I / II Knights of the Old Republic I / II umm... yeah. Really though even if you just got Baldur's Gate I / II and Neverwinter Nights and its expansion packs that would easily be about 500-600 hours worth of content. Baldur's gate I is probably like 80 hours long (idk, never beat it), Baldur's Gate II is at least 150 hours long, 200+ if you do side quests and then it's expansion Throne of Bhaal adds in another 50-60 hours. Neverwinter Nights is around a 60 hour romp and then it's expansion packs all together probably add in another 100 hours. Favorite three that I listed are Baldur's Gate II, Neverwinter Nights and System Shock 2.
Shiny
I'll try Neverwinter Nights, seems to be more what I am looking for.

sarg1010
Can anyone recommend me any good RTS/FPS games for the PC? I don't know what graphics card or anything like that I have, and it doesn't have internet (yet, posting this from a game-crappy laptop). I really like games like Dawn of War and such, and have them all except Soulstorm on my computer (lost SS's cd key a year ago before I got my good computer :( ) Unfinished netherrack symbol of Khorne. Never forget. ~creeper face w/single tear~ DO YOU HEAR THE VOICES TOO?!?!
Kiriyama
For RTS, I reccomend AoE II. Wish I could find my damn copy. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
Shiny
Try Sins of a Solar Empire. It takes a while to get into, but near the end it gets so intense your pretty much on the edge of your seat. Hard game as well.
VjuliusT
You could always pick up StarCraft Shiny, awesome RTS title if you like those. Any suggestions for RPGs/Rts games for my new rig? Exception to Oblivion. Critical parts are: 285 GTX 920 i7 3 GB ram (Only have a 32 bit WinXP disk)
Shiny
You have an i7? Niiiice. Why not Oblivion? It is an amazing game. Ones that come to mind are things like Fallout 3 and the like. If you are up for online games you could try Guild Wars?

Any games made by blizzard. Starcraft - Aparently one of the best RTS' of all time... Considered the national sport of korea. Diablo 2 + LoD - Hack 'n' Slash RPG. Limited replay value on vanilla, although there are many full conversion mods for diablo so theres hours of fun to be had. Warcraft 3 + TFT - Another great RTS with an epic story. Custom games will keep you entertained for hours. Deviant Art Account2 Signatures | 6 Photographs | 1 Other
i_love_burritos
Hehe, yeah ... That sounds good actually. Played Diablo enough. Starcraft was a personal of favourite of mine but ... DotA is sport in my background, so I'll do that. And, I've never played before. I found it far more complex than other RTS. Thanks.
sarg1010
I got that Sins of a Solar Empire game. It's pretty kick-[wagon] tbh :D Glad you recommended it. On the subject of Starcraft: I can honestly say I didn't like it much except for some campaign missions. I just don't see the fun in it. Everything takes too long to research, build, everything. On any of the custom games I can maybe crank out 5 terran soldiers before EVERY ENEMY GANGS UP ON ME. And whats worse is they have like... 20-40 soldiers! It just didn't seem fun to me. Oh, and that Protoss walker thingy that shoots energy balls can't shoot of ledges and stuff! WTF? Unfinished netherrack symbol of Khorne. Never forget. ~creeper face w/single tear~ DO YOU HEAR THE VOICES TOO?!?!
