I think it's gay only if you go overboard with it. Guys need clothes too so why not try to look nice while you're at it?

 

 

 

The attitude that it's gay to care about your clothing / appearance is immature and why a lot of "macho" guys don't actually get with as many girls, they look scruffy and lazy about their appearance.

Culture difference I suppose, the vast majority of good looking girls in Ireland only seem to go for guys who bit a bit of effort into their appearance and clothes, not the kind of guys who just throw on whatever they find.

Oh I remember,I used to think it was girly to care about which BRAND you bought.I avoided those with obvious brandings across them,and have at least 5 plain shirts.Branding is on the sleeve and in the same color as the rest of the shirt.Therefore cannot be seen.Giordano.

 

 

 

American Apparel don't have labels, and the brand BDG at Urban Outfitters don't put labels on there clothes either. Just throwing it out there if you want to completely eliminate branding.

 

 

 

@ShadowFaxPZ Hollister is not above Guess.. Hollister is a brand aimed at high schoolers where guess is aimed at people in there early 20s to mid 30s.

Not really. I love Guess' tees and hoodies, but their jackets and shirts are horrible quality. Feels really cheap compared to what you'll get from Hollister.

It's chisel time?

Never been big on fashion. It's just not my thing.

I just grab the first t-shirt I find in my wardrobe, and a pair of jeans from the floor.

 

 

 

I don't really care about my appearance, I have no reason to.

 

If I'm going out/interview etc, then I will.

 

Yeah I just wear bands tee's and pants basically.

 

I dont even like going shopping for clothes so I pretty much get the first pants that fit.

I fail to see how it's gay to wear nice clothes.

 

 

 

I mostly wear Armani Jeans/Collezioni, Gant, Pierre Cardin and Peak Performance for school and hanging out with friends and Adidas/Nike/Puma/And1 for sports and under work clothes. Lately I've almost stopped buying any other brands except for Armani. (I don't know if any of these ring a bell for you, I have no clue about half of the brands and none about the stores you mentioned. I shop at Stockmann and Stadium :D )(btw am I getting my prepositions right?)

 

 

 

I like clothes that combine good quality with not making me look like I'm showing off. I could never buy something like Louis Vuitton monogram canvas items or expensive clothes with obvious brandings. It's also important that the clothes I buy won't become unwearable because they "go out of fashion". A good design doesn't have to be timeless, but I don't want to look like my dad when he puts on his early 90's jogging outfit.

 

 

 

Stylewise I just go with a black and white/brown cardigan, a t-shirt and a pair of jeans. If I'm trying to look a bit nicer I'll go for a black and white look with black denim jeans. No hats, just freaking gigantic noise cancelling headphones.

A pair of skinnies, t-shirt, sweater, scarf/bandana, and occasionally underwear.

I sorta care, I guess. But considering I own a single "set" of nice clothes, for weddings and stuff, and all my other clothes were purchased to get dirty in ... I'd never pay the prices of some stuff, though. I mean, 50 dollars or more for a single article of clothing? I pay less for shoes, which are my highest valued clothing item. I like hats and sunglasses, though. And cool shirts.

 

 

 

Well, clothes I find cool in general will catch my interest a bit. But if they're expensive, I get bored fast.

 

 

 

All I usually wear for a time "out", work, or school are my Nikes, my fedora, my very nice Fossil watch, my aviators, a tee-shirt with a band on it, and jeans. Wal-Mart socks and boxers if I feel the need.

Anyways, I just realized how rambly I am. I just can't afford those nicer clothes. And I don't have to patience to look for deals, or to look through them. That's why, when I go shopping for lots of clothes before school, I bring my mother. I literally need her there. :P

Yeah, I didn't mention that I'm just talking about the kids I go to school with when it comes to that. I think it's strange though. I'd never imagine some of the more attractive girls to ever be turned on by the guys who don't put much effort in their appearance, but alas my little brother has had many admirers. :P They really seem to like the grunge - Kurt Cobain look over here.

I used to not care and bought stuff at pacsun for a while. Now I only go there for jeans. Then for a couple years I just bought those weird shirts you see online, like snorgtees and noisebot (I got a freakin office space t-shirt there!). But lately I've been caring a little more. I bought this really, really nice shirt when I went to see cirque du soleil and also a newsboy cap and aviators and a leather jacket. Only thing I don't like is how expensive it all is -.-

AUGH WHERE DID YOU FIND THOSE? I have the aviators I want, but I'm desperately looking for a good leather jacket. Brown or black. And a newsboy cap would actually be pretty cool.
