And I really want to find out more about becoming a member

The rest arent that high

Also can anyone sudgest good ways for me to lvl up faster?

kk the most basic advantages is that you will lvl up your skill WAY FASTER!!!!!! WAY WAY WAY WAY FASTER...hopefully u get the point and when you got decent stats for a mem acc you can make money WAY WAY WAY faster then in non mem

the most common disadvantage is that people tend to not pay 11 bucks a month for a game you r like to quit as u grow older. Somple people spent over 5 grans on this game aka my lame friend madgamer2 who spent 5gran + on this game

personally i like being member during vacation of after skool year done. this way you will do much more skilling as you dont have to go to skooll or study and stay non mem during skool year....works way better

SIDE NOTE: slowly make money when ur non mem and then use that money to lvl up in mem and yea 100k is not enuf to do anything in mem get atleast 300k+

Membership offers a lot more content. You get more ways to level your skills, more skills, more quests, more monsters, more equipment, more everything really. That being said, you haven't really played the game much and a lot of members content is geared towards more experienced players. For example cows are currently your best bet for training ranged in both f2p and p2p. You will be using the same equipment and you might feel that you aren't getting your money's worth even if it is just a few CAD a month.

As for leveling up your combat skills:

Melee the flesh crawlers at the second level of Stronghold of Security (abbreviated SoS). In p2p these are good cash as well, but in f2p they are just good exp. Run one screen away from them in order to make them agressive when they stop attacking you automatically.

Magic:

Crumble undead on the zombies in Varrock sewers. Just go to where you got the key in Demon Slayer and you'll see them. Superheat ores into bars when you get 43(?). High Alchemy is the best way to train magic in f2p if you find something to alch.

Ranged:

Range cows for now. At 30 you can switch to Hobgoblins near crafting guild if f2p.

Get something around ny stats (username Jenove) and ull be fine once u get on p2p

I think you can enjoy p2p just fine at below 1k f2p total. Even at 800 f2p total you will probably have a lot of members content available to you levelswise.

What are you implying?

What do you need help with?

And what dose being a girl have to do with this?

Are you on some sort of narcotic?

Edit: oh sorry, I didnt read the rest of your posts.

Anyway, members is worth it, i think you would be good killing something like flesh crawlers or chaos druids for drops at your level, they both drop high value herbs, particularly ranaar.

You could try building up requirements for desert treasure and monkey madness, both are quests that will really help later on.

Picking flax and stringing it is a good skill free way of making money. Pick flax, and spin it into bowstrings, all this can be done in seers village.

O.O

Another one of those guys acting like a girl huh.... lmao.

Love it.

On the topic, as soon as you hit members start crafting flax, its a lot of quick money and nice crafting exp for low levelled players.

Depends on how much you play and how you play, if you play a lot then get members you won't regret it.

Advanatges: To many to list

Disadvanteges: One less big mac meal per month.

oversized.jpg[/bads]

When seriously starting to train combat: train slayer.

Start the achievement diaries by talking to some NPC's (just that when you do something that's a task, you don't have to do it again when trying to complete a diary)

Do quests: unlocks new content and quite some advantages (among which ways to get arround faster; quest-list I recommand underneath)

MOST IMPORTANT: read http://tip.it/runescape/?page=getting_around.htm

Try unlocking as manny transportation means as possible: getting fast from one point to another saves a lot of time.

Some skills can be prepared: normal logs for fletching, wolf bones and some seconds for summoning,...

a few quests I recommand:

fairy tale1 and start fairy tale2 (for fairy rings)

gnome quests (spirit trees and gliders)

priest in peril (for big new area)

Tears of guthix (free weekly xp in your lowest skill)

I'll go against popular opinion here and recommend you do not wait to become a member. Beyond the extra content and faster xp gain, training spots in P2P tend to be much less crowded and the people tend to be more mature (ie, you won't experience the glut of preteens playing on free accounts). At a mere $5.95 a month, it is very much worth it.

don't get member yet because you'll be wasting those real $$$ a month & you probably will be doing a lot of non member stuff while your at member world because of your stats. so if i were you... i'll level up my stats first then go to members...

Just become a member when you want to.

I recommend doing these quests:

Tree Gnome Village and Grand Tree - to get around much faster

Fairy Tale pt. 1 and the beginning of pt. 2 (you don't need the requirements) - Fairy Rings are extremely helpful

Priest in Peril - Unlocks Morytania

Recruitment Drive - Initiate armour is very useful when you use prayer

Death Plateau and Troll Stronghold (WARNING: Troll Stronghold is nearly impossible without 43+ prayer): two 10k xp lamps are always nice

Druidic Ritual, Wolf Whistle: Herblore and Summoning

Fishing Contest - you can use the tunnel to get past White Wolf Mountain

Recipe for Disaster - do as many parts as you can, you can buy very cheap and very good gloves.

And other things to do:

Train Agility - faster run energy recharge and shortcuts

Varrock armour 1 - 16 battlestaves per day is 20k+ profit with one minute of work

Explorer's ring 3 - yes it's a f2p item, very useful in members and f2p alike

To make money in members', you can:

Collect flax and spin it into bowstrings - 10 crafting required, good profit. Collect flax in Seers' Village and spin it in Lumbridge Castle. Gives a little bit of crafting xp. ~100k per hour I think. However I have not made bowstrings since they were 200 gp each.

Mine pure essence - 30 mining required. Average profit ~80-100k an hour I guess?

Kill Flesh Crawlers - I have not tried this myself but everyone says that they're good profit and xp.

Get 15 slayer and kill Banshees (level 23) - USE EARMUFFS! Banshees drop a lot of herbs and pure essence, and "a lot" means a lot!

You do not need to do everything, do whatever you like to do.

just keep playing f2p. once you understand more about the game and completed all the quests then it would be a good time to buy membership

I agree. Thats what I did, I finished all the free quests to get them out of the way. Alot of the members quests require alot of the free quests done. This just opens up more of the game for you. I got to around 70 combat before I switched over to members. And yes, it is totally worth it to pay for members. GL! ::'

Disadvantage: Less noobs that are willing to hit on a gold-digging guy playing as a female character.

I'm a guy, but play as a girl. Main reason was I changed sex for Recruitment Drive and then lost the free makeover thing, but it's actually a better game as a female. Less cries of "noob!", cheaper equipment (Dragon Skirt) and something better to look at.

Trust the Gene Genie!

It's worse now I am a high level. Seems loads noobs want a high level bride.

When I say no and they ask why I say "cos I have a [rooster] irl" usually shuts them up
