Futurama
Ok, this is really screwing my head up. Last night i had a dream that I was slashing my wrists to kill myself. Woke up before i died, but thought nothing of it. So i look at my wrists...see for yourself. (Looks purple cos i had to darken the photo - camera flash) I seriously have no idea what's going on. The lines are kinda like dents, so they're not scratches. I'm just wondering how the hell this could have happened.
rocketman089
I smell another cheesy Nightmare On Elm Street sequel brewing :? . Anyway, seriously, that's really weird. I know it's different, but a lot times if I fall down a cliff or something high in my dream, I wake up on the floor next to me bed or at the very edge. I don't remember where I read it, but I read something about the connection to your dreams and what's physically happening to you. The dream isn't doing anything to you, it's like your body's way of telling you and illustrating that something's happening (So, maybe you were laying down on your wrists or something and it made those dents on your wrist). ____
I get that when my arms have been resting on an uneven surface for a period of time. Chances are you were just sleeping on the arm or something and the sheets or whatnot was creased a bit :P
Mercifull
Last night i deamt i got bitten in the belly by a werewold (Just watched AAWIL) and woke up about 2.15am with a horrendous pain in my stomach. Weird eh. I think that the pain in real life manifested the dream rather than the dream making me feel like i had a stomach cramp. Just like in your case Rob where youve been led funny asnd got wrinkles in your arm (happens to me at times) your brain has manifested the dream in which you cut yourself. rocketman089 explained it pretty well :P Weird eh?..... :) Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Futurama
I always believed in that too matt, til i started reading dream dictionaries. They always seem to point to real life situations if you pick out the themes...very scary stuff. Dunno, could easily be, but dreams about suicide signify that you dont want to go about a friendship/relationship the way you are now. Which kinda plays in with a girl i know...weird. Either it's extreme coincidence or something's up there.
Rizla
I have a lot of dreams which relate to events in my life (i get one of my friends to look up the meanings in her book), it's pretty interesting stuff really. Kirk and Lars I could handle. At the same time.
Chris
Well when I was little.. I dreamt that I needed a pee real bad so in my dream I found a little bit behind a wall and started to pee, seconds later I woke up with a wet bed. Damn young uncontrollable bladder. But yeah, I'd say it's because you were resting on your arm and it felt uncomfortable. So you dreamt the whole slashing of the wrists. But remember down the street not across the road. :P Notoriously Trollish.
Bmw
I don't get it. It was obviously your watch right? Like who sleeps with a watch, and doesn't expect lines on their arms when they wake up? :?
Lionheart_0
 Wow, this is preatty freaky. Only twice have i had a dream like those. Once falling off the bead resulted in falling down as things chased me when i was little. the second, someone punched me in the dream, woke up, and my jaw hurt,a nd i could see something walking away. Hmm i know dreams are sappoused to be a way of your brain sorting out the days events, and also shows stuff about what has been on your m ind alot... freaky! Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting! Futurama
Whilst we're on the subject of sleep, has anyone here ever had morning paralysis? It's when your body wakes up but your brain doesnt as far as i gather, so you can't move and it makes you hallucinate (hence why people think they've seen aliens) A friend of mine had it once, but her mom decided to pick her up and take her downstairs in her arms when she was still paralyzed. Apparently she started screaming out loud and trying to beat the crap out of her mom because she saw getting beheaded outside the window

Celeste
Dude that is sooo wierd.. lol.. but yeah, i agree with rocketman about why you had that dream.. he explained it very well.. and yeah.. it's cool when you sleep walk (i went through that pharse for a long time) that your body leads you.. like you don't run into walls or anything, because your use to seeing that area every day.. kindof strange lol.. because when i use to sleep walk, i had a very messy run.. and still managed to get out.. and go into the living room, and ask my parents where the bathroom is.. lol..they had a good hoot,... and BTW.. you can also learn a lot about yourself in dreams...even to the point where my dreams have came true (minus a few lil things).. it's kindof strange.. but i like dreaming :D i think it's awesome that your mind plays like a short film in your head while you sleep...but.. i usually forget most of my dreams when i wake up.. :( Formly known as TheKat146.Retired in 2003 on RSC at combat level 111 <
Godslayer
Hypnic jerk dreams are the best  You'll just be walking along say.. a basketball court and slip and wake up  Holy . I'm a football (soccer) player, and alot of dreams involve me thrashing about with my legs. Well, it has to happen at least once a week, I'm dozing off, not really deeply sleeping, but on the edge, see? Anyways, I'm vaguely dreaming, and I do something involved with my leg- and I practicaly flip out of my bed. I wake up, and can't stop it, and I kick violently. It freaks me out. I don't even want to mention the dream that freaks me out most, you'd all think I was wierd. :?

Bmw
Wait, wait, wait. Back on topic here for a sec. He was initially talking about how he dreamt that he was cutting his wrist. Ok. Maybe hes suicidal. Lol, kidding. But the lines are simply from his watch, correct? So what's the big deal? Another random dream while sleeping with a watch on? I don't get it. Make7upu101
People can have all sorts of meanings for dreams. Maybe your scared of cutting or you just saw it or heard about it somewhere and sometimes things in the back of yuor mind surface in your dreams. As for the marks on your wrists that happens to me all the time. Not sure what causes it because im sleeping of course but i think its just the wood or something else similar that you rested your arm on while you were sleeping. fastortoise
I hate those dreams when your just dozing, not really asleep but about to, and you half-dream that you fall and you totally jump out of bed. When my friends dicsussed this, the location of this dream is usually where you got really hurt for the first time. For me, I just fall of sidewalks
Demeige
Ooooh, emo dreams :o. I had a weird dream today too where all my elementary-middle school friends were going to the same college as me and we were all marching in some orderly fashion :? There was some relation to the dream today because I saw a movie today(Stealth) and in the theater I saw a childhood friend from my Middle School. It's strange when stuff like that happens out of the blue. How does a profession differ from an occupation?
