I wasn't asking in that post. I was asking how am I the one who quotes everything you say and tries to make you look like the bad guy when you're the one who quoted me and tried making a bad guy out of me - with an irrelevant flame at that.

I didn't try and make you the bad guy nor did I make an irrelevent flame. I said you were a hypocrite because you are one and the post I quoted proves it.

This is the real definition of hypocrite: a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings. I didn't do that in my post.

And let's say for a minute that you were right hypothetically - you're still the one quoting me first and you're still the one trying to make me look like a bad guy and you're still the one who started the flamewar.

I wasn't trying to start any flamewar, I was just trying to point out how dumb you made yourself look in posting that (and would've done so if anyone else posted that).

I think it's quite suspicious how you proceed to call me a hypocrite and don't give any support for your statement whatsoever. Hmmm... Maybe it's because you're wrong? How that can be considered hypocritical is beyond me. You must be thinking of a different word, buddy.

No, your views towards real world traders and druggies (which are both rule breakers/law breakers) are completely opposite.

All real world traders are bad regardless.

Only some drug users are bad, and they ruin it for the ones who aren't bad.

Hypocrite, that's definitely the word I'm looking for.

Jett, it's already been pointed out that while real world trading may still occur, the things that were associated with it in the past (botting and credit card fraud) aren't an issue anymore. So again, why is real world trading in its current state (without bots and credit card issues) such a huge deal for the game and Jagex? Also, how can you say "RWT is coming back" when it's been going on since the introduction of bh - which was a long time ago.

As for the grand exchange being revamped anytime soon, don't hold your breath.

They aren't an issue anymore? You'll have to send me your Jagex mod username, considering you know so much about what's going on in the company.

Actually, anyone who's willing to peruse websites permissive towards extralegal activity in MMORPG would know that botting and gold farming are nearly extinct methods of harvesting gold. Grand Exchange merchanting/manipulation is the most dominating method of collecting money, although phishing and dragonstones have been popular as well. The problem with botting is that there are very few ways to get money off a low level account, not to mention, I don't know exactly how but from all accounts, Jagex has cracked down hard on bots. Gold farming has died off because, simply put, BH isn't as safe as some people make it out to be, and not a job for employees who barely know what they're doing and being paid a dollar an hour (if they're lucky).

RWT is still the cause of some less respectable aspects, such as phishing and Grand Exchange manipulation, but it's nowhere near the problem that any of you are making it out to be.

And sadly enough, I can report that after months on these shadier websites, I still have yet to find someone selling a Divine Spirit Shield.

Oh, and interestingly enough, removing BH seems to have done nothing anyways. Or it might... I'm not sure. Most of those gold selling merchanting businesses are still going strong, but since I don't particularly care to RWT, I don't know if they're bluffing about having a method to look good, or whether they're actually selling something. If the rumors are true and there are already new methods going around, I feel sorry for the PvP fanatics... they're suffering yet another blow now, with an update that really has little to no benefit.

Firstly, that's the incorrect usage of the word. Even if you were right about them being contradicting, it would merely be a case of me contradicting myself - not me being a hypocrite. If I RWTed and said that RWTing was wrong, then I would be a hypocrite. Notice the definition provided says "acts in contradiction to".

Secondly, it's a whole new can of worms. There's nothing immoral about responsible drug use. I implore you to go to an Off Topic thread concerning drugs to talk about this one though. This is not the place.

Thirdly, I was talking about before drugs were even illegal. Back then, there were people who used them responsibly and people who didn't. The people who didn't exercise caution, caused the government to make them illegal - ruining it for the ones who did exercise caution.

You're basically telling me there's no such thing as responsible drug usage.

No, because that wasn't bypassing a system jagex put in place to prevent RWT.

But now the system is there, intentionally avoiding jagex's trade limits is against the rules.

I think it's only against the rules if you use it to RWT or transfer something to another account of yours. As far as I'm concerned, the limits are nothing more than technical features.

I personally think that there is more RWT'ing going on in the p2p BH world.

I thought BH and other dangerous minigames were disabled on pvp worlds?

Good thing that this is the internet and we can make topics on how we feel. If you agree, contribute to the topic. If you don't have anything nice to say, the keep your mouth shut, it's that rule that we learn from our minders, 'eh?

As for getting rid of Bounty Hunter, I think that Jagex is just getting a bit ridiculous. I've been around since the update when you could deposit coins into a "bank" was a giant thing. Why was depositing your coins such a big thing? Because you could go to any world just above Varrock and there were tons of people there that were just crossing the border of Varrock and the Wilderness.

The Wilderness has been a piece of Runescape since the beginning and now it's gone. Completely. And it's remnants are trashed. It's rather depressing if you ask me.

Bounty Hunter was one of the only ways to share a drop that you got in a non-lootshare world.

Say you duo an Armadyl Hilt. How are you going to split the 65ish mil with your partner if it's not lootshare?

One person gets rich, and the other gets nothing?

They might be stopping RWT, but it's goning to be impossible to find a lootshare world at GW now.

Since when was there a rule where only people who agree with the first post can post? If there was a rule that you can't disagree with anyone then I would've quit TIF long long ago.

What a load of total crap. Don't try and force your own narrow, biased [developmentally delayed] opinion onto others by displaying it as facts.

If you don't like the updates, and if it's as bad as you say it is.. then quit. Whining like a [bleep] isn't going to change anything.

Why use these forums if all your going to do is consider others ideals as biased and [developmentally delayed]ed. He's not forcing his opinion down your throat, and he obviously asked at the end for your OPINION, not you to be a comeplete [wagon] to him and make him feel bad.

My opinion is that they've taken fighting RWT a bit too far, and although I aggreed to an extent with the trade and wilderness decisions, bounty hunter was the final TRUE way to have full pvp combat and get all of their items. Also, BH had many limitations already such as weapons/armour.

That's already been attempted by numerous posters and it's all been countered with things such as "You don't understand" or "Open your eyes man, Jagex isn't even trying" or "You're a hypocrite".

Yeah I read it. He doesn't want the last link to be gone and wants us all to complain to Jagex. So? It won't do anything, and they won't change it.

This thread has officialy become a flame war.

No kidding.

And if I do remember correctly, you are the same mod who warned us not to flame each other last time he was sending me PM's. It's about a year later, and he's still going at it. Honestly, I just want to post in peace without him flaming me with every possible chance he gets. :|

If you had reported his first offending post, this would have been taken care of swiftly and without a mess. I don't care if he started it, you did a pretty good job of continuing it; he may still be going at it, but from what I've seen, so are you. You are both at fault here so I don't want either of you saying "he started it so go punish him." If you see an inappropriate post, it's YOUR responsibility to report it so a moderator can remove it and take any necessary action. If you throw rude/flamy comments back at him, how does that make you any better?

Zierro, Madmanpu3: if I see anything more from either of you, you'll be seeing a lot more than a warning on a thread. I asked you guys to stop flaming and you don't seem to be making much of an effort to just drop it and get back to the main topic. If this thread gets anymore flames from anybody, it's probably going to be locked.
