Raven's Egg

Featured Replies

I wanna get a Raven Egg but it's taking a really long time. I've gone through about 5 nests and still no egg.

How long should it take if I'm woodcutting yews with a rabbit foot necklace?

raven's egg is realy rare... i think (not completely sure) that it has the same chance as a normal bird egg. i had 19bird eggs in 350+ birdnest... so you wont have it that fast

5? 5? 5?!?!??!?!

Ha, good luck with that in 5 nests, I got mine in probably more than a 100 nests.

Two words; Good luck.

Lol...

So if I cut 5k yew logs, would it be likely I got it then?

And is there a faster way to get it?

Fletching_cape.gifCooking_cape.gifCrafting_cape.gif

Danetello2.png

It would be very unlikely. I cut 8k yews once, never got the egg.

And MTK is another chance of a raven egg.

Raven eggs are obtained from Bird's nests randomly discovered during Woodcutting however cant be found during Managing Miscellania minigame. An egg cannot be found in nests obtained by exchanging Mole skin or Mole claws with Wyson the gardener.

if you really want the egg, do MTK on mapples since you get quite a lot of nests. allthou, youll waste money(or not gain as much as u could normally) since the price paid for geting maples are higher than the logs sell for...

of course if you get a magic/yew/palm seed you gain money but the chance of getting that kind of seed isnt realy high either.

Strange the Raven egg can't be obtained from MTK (If what that guide says is true) The 3 God birds are very common from that... (Had 1 or 2 every week now XD)

I guess you just need to keep on cuttin'

Good luck :)

hmm, i'm not sure..i got mine in about 30 mins of cutting teaks, 2 nests in. \'

so i couldn't tell ya, i just got lucky

i got 5 raven, 2 guthix, 2 zammy and 2 sara eggs in 58k yew logs, for 99 wc

they are very rare, but keep at it

Do not fear Death. Death is always at our side. When we show fear, it jumps at us faster than light. But, if we do not show fear, it casts its eye upon us gently and then guides us into infinity...

If you wear a strung rabbit's foot before searching nests, your chance of getting better seeds increases a lot.

SWAG

Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on.

It only increases the drop rate for a Bird's nest when woodcutting.

  • 1 year later...

(First post, w00t!)

A while back I tried to get a raven's egg, and I tried on willows at barb outpost for nearly 10 hours WITH rabbit's foot... 1 guthix egg, 0 ravens. I turned around and tried Misc. I get 1-2 of ea god egg (zam, sara, guth) every two weeks at 75k per day, 10 of my workers on maples for 1-2 months. Still no raven. No Idea what's wrong with this... :?

Good luck to us both in our attempts at a raven!

Sp1ca262.png

I got a raven when going from 77-79 wc (or something like that). Didn't take very long.

I got 2 raven eggs by chopping ivy from ~70- 80 wc without a rabbit's foot, so you'll probably be there for a while.

cwsiggyfinal.jpg

Sig by me, in MS paint, but I'm still working on it.

Suggestions appreciated

This guide is as concise as a gourmet's handbook with the guidelines of "Pick up fork, stab food, insert into your mouth, then chew".

It's a very rare egg, so have patience, but the fastest way to do it would be to cut willows near BA with a strung rabbit's foot, and banking logs at the deposit bank in the BA building. Or you could chose not to waste your time and just cut ivy for far more exp/hour and just pay enough attention to not let nests drop and vanish  .

Just to clear it up, You can *not* Get Raven eggs from MTK, for what ever reason. I guess Jagex wanted to make them special and more of a accomplishment.

I heard somewhere that oak trees give more birds nests then any other tree, although I'm not 100% sure about that.

But if it was me, i would just chop ivy and pay attention. You're getting more EXP, and still have a chance at one. I'm sure you'll get at least 1 by 99 WC, if that is some sort of goal for you by any chance.

I can see that. I cut oaks with my auto-bank ability after downing an evil tree. I generally end up with 4-5 nests in 30 minutes.

30k + logs no raven egg
