Im Christ Like0 if any of you ever knew me but I have been inactive for over a year now... I recently read that there was a new CEO and I hadn't been on in a while so I stopped in to see what was happening.

 

 

 

When I left PKing was removed and a trade limit was added, that pushed it over the edge, do these still exist? any plans on removing them? I also noticed I stay logged in a lot longer now while being inactive in the browser.

 

 

 

So is this game worth playing to you guys? it used to be massive fun, then I started getting crap from my friends for playing the 'worst game ever' but yea... i miss the days of when whips first came out, the days that this game was at its finest.

Far, far better now. HD, Summoning, GWD, dozens of quests and removal of RWT (Shut down in 6 months? No thank you.) plus literally hundreds of huge content updates have combined to make this game far, FAR funner, more playable, funner, with a bigger potential and a wider target audience then ever before.

Frog tokens got turned into random event gift box things, read last weeks rs update.

 

 

 

The logout timer is 5 mins now, not 1.5

 

 

 

EDIT: They are no longer in demand, not the most expensive items anymore, much better things to spend money on etc.

To answer your question above: The auto log out timer has been increased to 5 minutes instead of 1.

Your frog tokens have been replaced by random event gift boxes (gives worse rewards than regular ones). Read about the random event changes on the mainpage.

No, it's true. Along with the Dark Bow and obviously dragon arrows. This was because the 2 hits at once meant a certain death if used for PJing in the new PvP worlds. The dragon implings had a boost to their rewards because of the removal of the dragon arrows.

You got to be p2p to search them. The corrupted dragon items are f2p pvp drops.

Take a moment and read the various updates from the past. If you don't seem to like them, then the game is not worth playing anymore. Of course, you can't make entire judgments just from updates alone, but.

Disregarding the regulars, yes, it is still wroth playing anymore.

 

 

 

If your version of fun on Runescape wasn't 99% pking in the wilderness, you're fine.

Runescape is at its best and getting better.

Going on five years now, and it's NEVER been better to play for me.

If HD and/or summoning was taken out now I'd probably consider taking a break. Runescape is better than ever.

IMO "yes", though that may not be your opinion so I'd say play it for a bit and make your mind up for yourself. And that includes getting your friends to stop giving you grief for like it, or any other game for that matter.

The graphics has been updated and a whole load of new stuff has been added. You really should come back.
