warren211
There was some state in the south where it was required to bathe at least once a year  Well that's one of those outdated laws back when one could only bathe a few times a year. Funny nevertheless. [hide=]tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :( :lol:But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities. That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.[/hide]Apparently a lot of people say it. I own. http://linkagg.com/ Not my site, but a simple, budding site that links often unheard-of websites that are amazing for usefulness and fun. dsavi
I heard one law in Ripley's Believe it or not, sounds like complete bs to me. "Women in can not wear shiny shoes lest men see reflections of their underwear". Yeah sure.
Lenticular_J
Oh, and In a small city in the US somewhere, putting salt on railways is punnishable by death  That makes sense though. You'd be surprised how something tiny can derail a train. At street crossings they usually stop to check. People are [bleep]s like that. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

Lenticular_J
Well, it'd take a huge pile, especially for modern trains. But I bet that back in the 1850's it coulda derailed a train easy. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

"Women in can not wear shiny shoes lest men see reflections of their underwear". Yeah sure. that wouldnt be that surprising, not exactly reasonable but if you think back to when society was more modest it makes sense as a law. dsavi
It would, until you realize that the women in question would have to be wearing very shiny shoes indeed. Like mirrors lol. Also I don't know whose it is referring to. If the men would see reflections of their own underwear, or the woman's. I think I'll leave that to the philosophers. FlameHawk18
Apparently in Texas it's illegal to own a pair of pliers? I dunno, my friend told me that. :/ Though, I do know in Florida, it is illegal to drive across a bridge whilst fishing at the same time.

Giordano
What the hell? Are all these laws from the 18-who knows what that nobody ever removed? Although the Whaling in Oklahoma is quite amusing. "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is." Lenticular_J
It's actually supposed to be that an Oklahoman should never whale. I don't know why. War_Eagle777
Whaling is illegal in Oklahoma This takes the cake. Dangit I was about to post that one. In Kentucky it is illegal to transport an ice cream cone in your pocket. As in Alabama, I think. It is aslo punishable by death to put salt on railroad tracks.

Orpheus
I think that in California you aren't supposed to ride your bike into a pool, or own a pet giraffe. I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal. OPEN WIDE HERE COMES THE HELICOPTER.

Dizzle229
Here in New York it's illegal to knowingly sell a haunted house. I do believe in ghosts, but I really think it's dumb to pass a law based on something that hasn't been proven. That's why I agree that church and state should be seperate, even though I'm Catholic. Also, it's illegal for men to go topless in the center of town in Ocean city (got this one from a site). Get back here so I can rub your butt. Wizz
I remember that I read somewhere that it's illegal to kiss someone if you have a mustache in some state in USA. Also it's illegal to pretend to be swimming in Southern California. Wongton is better than me in anyway~~

Does the general concept of ghost really fall under church and state since a large portion of religions/belief systems, and since ghosts arent really bound to religion? That law obviously wont hold up in any case since you cant "prove" it though if you did the new owners would be rich . Interestingly though, I recall a law somewhere that bans the killing of bigfoot which was probably made on the same reasoning of getting ahead of the curve so to speak. Orthodoxy is unconciousnessthe only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed.
