I love how they say "Skål" in my mothertongue, Norwegian ^^ If I'm not mistaken we're the only ones who have the "å" letter, right?

"Skål" meens "cheers" btw

Silly Norwegian.......We Danes got the å letter too

Ah, I was wondering whether danes had it.... do you have the word "Skål" though?

I thought the swedes used an "a" with two dots above it? Or I might be confusing it with their version of "ø"...

Swedish does use the Ä /ä, and our version of the ø is "ö".

Could we discuss something else? ::'

138 Combat as of Summer 2010 - Retired Summer 2010

Some info on the new monsters i gathered.

[hide=Yeti& Gnoeal]During the quest you encounter a cave full of small Yetis and Gnoeals, which fight each other but they love attacking passing player more. They attack with different attack styles, so it is better to try to only fight one type at a time, or pray...

Yeti, level 93. Melee attack. Low defence, medium strength. Can hit quite hard occassionally.

Drops that i got:

- big bones(always)

- coins

- charms

- mithril sq shield

- steel thrownaxe (somewhere between 10-20)

- mithril warhammer

- supper attack potion(2)

- super defence potion(2)

- antipoison+(1)

- prayer potion(1)

- steel arrow (between 10-20)

- iron arrow(p) (5-10)

- chaos runes (5-10)

- half a wild pie

- earth talisman

- chili potato

- swordfish

- earth runes

Gnoeals, level 93. Magic attack. Low defence. They can hit pretty hard, even on dragonhide... My friend got attacked by 3 or 4 at a time and he got seriously owned. He couldn't eat fast enough, so he teleported at 12hp.

Drops:

- big bones(always)

- coins

- charms

- grimy guam

- grimy marentill

- silver bar

- silver ore

- gold bar

- gold ore

- bass

- staff of water

- 2 blood rune

- toadflax seed

- irit seed

- nature rune (1, 2)

- lava runes (13)

- water talisman

- gems

When i finished i had 9 gold, 4 blue, 2 green and 1 crimson charm.

With black d'hide i couldn't be there for a very long time, as they hit me a lot... I didn't use any familiar or pots, only super attack and defence i got as a drop. I didn't bother trying any other set-up, but there might be a better choice of equipment, suitable to stay there longer :)[/hide]

this was from the patch notes in the RSOF recent updates section:

Seagulls have now been added to the Hunter skill and can be found along some coastlines. You'll need to wave your butterfly net in a gullible fashion to catch these birds.

Damn them they got me with it :wall:

I honestly got excited for a second (being a 99 hunter), logged in, checked every section of the in game hunter guide, didn't see anything about seagulls, then re-read what the patch notes thing said...

:wall: :wall: :wall:

they win

Hey i see myself in that vid :P .

How can you summon (or whatever) the Brassica Prime?

Due to my epic stats, I have now started WGS (but I still hate spoilers).

Meh, not my favorite quest. Just more of the old "go talk to these people", fight some easy monster, and get practically no reward. Did manage to kill a couple of hours on it not using a guide, though. It's also nice that king vargas is no longer a hulking monstrosity. Can't wait for the "actual" 150 they promised. :)

The april fools thing is pretty funny, but I wonder if cabbages will still be wieldable after this, or if we'll get some other permanent item like we did the last two aprils.

I love those cabbages :D. I will go get a lot of them and then throw them at random people while I'm training Slayer :D!

Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak

Another thing I found interesting about that quest is in that Yeti cave, you'll find a scrap of paper that is a warning note, of sorts. However, it has two crossed out words-- "Feind" and "Us." Sounded a bit like, "Find us" imo. '-'

Gago, after you completed the quest, did any of them drop yeti hair again? Perhaps it's like Mort'ton...even though that Diamond Root is extinct according to Asleif.

Ah well. I enjoyed this quest. ^^

Got a cabbage to the ge in w141.

Quest Cape

The logic governing the behavior of items kept on death has been fixed for certain circumstances involving stacks of items, such as coins. If in doubt about what is at risk, double check your Items Kept on Death interface.

How has this not been mentioned? \'

Edit: I'm not sure how this is calced. I'm currently at rock lobs and ahrim's top, inf bottom, fury, ancient staff, dark gloves all protect over 7000 deaths (of which the aggregate alch value is over 1m).

ffs is there a way to turn off the admin codes to make the words appear as mudkip of whatever the hell it is? It's so annoying and childish. Guess I'll come back to the forums tomorrow where I can actually read the general thread list and have a clue what I'm looking at.

Nope, never got the hair. Didn't even think about that :)

When i was in the cave for the first time, i killed one Yeti and picked up the hair just for fun, without knowing i would need it later :D

The Word is A-p-r-i-l (I think)

At a guess I'd say old logic saw that stack of item = total value of stack of item and it would therefore place runes and coins high up the saving list.

New logic = sees value of each item in the stack and therefore will protect them lower

It's April Fools day, we're allowed to be annoying and childish by imposing stupid censors ;)

Retired Tip.It Crew Mapper.

Quest looks boring, but the cabbages look fun :P

Why did the admins use such an old meme?

And are seagulls any good for hunting?

If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.

Is there a need for "Mudkipz" crap?

This is Runescape, not Pokemon. Atleast leave pokemon out of this thread's title.

Jeez.

You are the fool of April.
