Star.
Everything! I don't really care for the genre, if it has a catchy beat or nice lyrics then I'll listen to it forevar. That being said, my ipod holds a lot of Japanese rock/pop. I have the odd hip hop/rap artists, a couple bollywood/bhangra tunes and the good ole reggae/dubstep. I'm currently indulging in some piano renditions of theme tunes and sound tracks though. ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢

How2PK
Pop music most of the time, within that I have a thing for folk music. Also a little jazz and avant-garde. I don't want to limit myself much so my cd collection goes from Britney Spears to John Zorn. I hardly have any classical music. That's not because it don't care about it: I just don't know where and how to start. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore! aquariusman
Mainly punk and most of the genres associated with it (Some pop-punk, Ska punk, metalcore). Also a lot of Ska, both first wave, two-tone and third wave. There is also quite a bit of 80's and 90's mixed in aside from that, stuff like Iron Maiden, Michael Jackson, Anthrax, Pink Floyd. http://www.last.fm/user/BigFoot8C77 For a better list. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new, better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience. Zierro
I don't know why, but Mercyful Fate was always my favorite choice when I was on RS. It might have to do with how they are both fantasy-oriented. Hmm.
ugafan_2009
I don't play RuneScape, but I listen to alternative, metal, post-hardcore, classic rock. Pretty much any form of rock. There are only a few rap songs I enjoy and I pretty much hate all country. Quit RS, combat 104, total 1651

Nadril
Good music. No, really, I don't know if I want to associate myself with a specific genre anymore. I can name something from just about any genre that I enjoy, and I am always willing to try something new out and explore various styles. While I would be lying if I didn't say that my playlist does contain mostly Metal and Rock I have been branching out to numerous genres recently. I really want to get some more rap/hip-hop, but I've been real lazy about getting around to it. Really though I can't really see how someone can limit themselves so much to once specific genre. It just seems sort of childish really.
ProtoGuy
To be honest amostly anything but rap and country haha... I mean there are a few good rap songs; Mr. Carter, Paper Planes, yes I count that as rap. But in my opinion, all < rock < techno < CLASSIC ROCK. Kalphite
My library is predominantly metal, but I am not a metalhead. Though I do much enjoy the genre, I also like many subgenres of rock as well as some electronic music, hip-hop/rap, and a bit of Punk. I am wiling to try anything, though. the only genres I haven't really tried are Blues, jazz, and classical, mainly because I don't know where to start (though I do listen to Stevie Ray Vaughan and John Zorn already). BlueLancer
Since I've grown older I noticed I have absolutely everything on my mp3. Name a genre from jazz to soundtracks, classic or funk and I have plenty. No longer do I only have hard rock/metal like some 5 years ago. Once you gain age you learn to respect various kinds of music, at least some people do. I have friends that hate everything except the genre they listen to. I'm also a nut for unknown, high quality independent bands (but in no way do I like the 'indie' scene or associate with it). There are countless progressive rock, etc. bands nobody ever heard about that make better music than most commercial bands.
Jernlov
I've noticed that too, BlueLancer. This time last year (I had just turned 15), I was listening to mostly hard rock and metal and it continued that way until about September 2008. Then, I heard a few albums that gradually brought me to new genres of music; including, but not limited to: shoegaze, jazz, avant-garde, experimental and progressive rock. If I had heard them any earlier and that, and if I had not been willing to finally grow out of metal and hard rock, I probably would've hated the albums that opened my eyes to new music. That said, I still do enjoy black metal, sludge, and doom metal a lot. Also, I like weird metal such as Gorguts, maudlin of the Well and Demilich; I've always taken an interest in music that most people would never really know about or want to know about, let alone actually listen to. Metal aside, I'm usually listening to shoegaze, post-rock or indie rock/pop. Steam | Soup | Last.fm
