Well, there's one for math. Why not English?

What are your favorite words that have a practical application?

Hopefully this thread doesn't spark an argument....

Tergiversate (v): To make conflicting or evasive statements.

Your turn.

'Why' is my favourite word. I'm just a curious person, and use it a lot.

There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,

and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. That

regret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,

better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret.

It's experience.

Intriguing.

Like the word interesting, but better. It implies curiosity about the subject, and thus it implies that you want to know more about the subject.

Noob is a word, just not in the dictionary. I can make up a word right now. It will be a word, just not in the dictionary.

OT: I really don't have a favorite word.

Noob is indeed in the dictionary, albeit only the very recent.

"Swine."

Interesting, because i use "swine" a lot also.

The word i use a lot is "Fresh." I use it usually to describe something different, surprising or something new (that i havent seen before).

Freind - "Hey cameron, look at this new flavor of amp!"

Cameron - "wow lemonade, thats fresh"

another word that i like to use, is "tripdiculous." trippy and ridiculous.

I like finagle.

What's fun about swine comes mostly from the swine flu. You see people that would ordinarily be calling swine pigs or hogs or something say swine for the flu. This gives rise to the uneducated gangsta thug saying something like, "Damn, I hope I don't get this swine flu, bro. Dat's heavy [cabbage]". I actually heard this be said.

Pseudo-, although it's a prefix.

"Your pseudoscience is evidence of your pseudointelligience."

It's subtle.

[if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or

by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.]

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
