I don't want to sound like an elitist, because apparently on here pointing out that you know more about the game than most people makes you worse than Hitler, but anyway, this is pretty much *another* update that is useless to me and most people I hang out with because we know the layout of the world, dungeon, etc. And we certainly don't need a new HP bar that makes my backside pucker every time I see it.

 

 

 

Looks like Jagex has is sticking true to one of their oldest mottos:

Lets be honest. Ok, the old hp was historic. But like much of history, it really is not worth saving

 

 

 

The old bar looked like...well it WAS created with MS PAINT!

 

 

 

I am all for an hp bar with...OMG IT HAS MORE THAN 2 FREAKING COLOURS! NO FREAKING WAY!

 

 

 

And I bow down to the awsomeness of the new splashes.

I'm so sad that this update is not to your liking Me_hates_libs, when was the last time your enjoyed something from RS? Your situation is a pathetic case of a player not wanting to let go and not having the guts to quit properly without trying to get attention in the process. It's been like this for months from you dissing every updates and poisoning these boards.

Well, when they give good updates I won't trash them. I didn't criticise Tales of the Muspah, Missing My Mummy, Soul Wars, fixing the run lag issue, and haven't crushed the dungeon maps either. I pointed out that I won't use them. The HP bar however I think is making my colon bleed.

 

 

 

And I have no interest or desire in garnering attention to myself. And I'm only playing until my membership runs out.

 

 

 

But I'll make sure to hang around the boards and call Jagex out on the crap they are spewing forth into the game just for you.

I don't think they forgot them. I think they'll release them when they get them finished. They just threw out the batch they had already done because the primary code to make it poissble was completed.

I don't understand why the HP bar looking like some other game is such a big deal...

 

 

 

I really like it. I really like how Jagex is trying to improve the game rather than expanding (atm); not to say I don't like new content.

Also tried Blue Dragons and imo they got redbarred at higher hp than before...

While I understand that this is a year of upgrading, I am too beggining to lose interest in Runescape. I know that many times this sentiment will be met with "OMG LYKE JUST QUIT!!!!" but I have no interest in quitting. I enjoy the game as a whole, I am just beginning to find it hard to find things to do.

 

 

 

This year has had very few things that I find interesting. I own a quest cape (something I really enjoy), all my stats are 70+ (mining being an exception), have 99 crafting as well as a few other 99s, I have 'completed' all the miniquests, I have unlocked every area in the game, have been boss hunting, perfected farm runs, know more about this game than I do my job... pretty much completed all that it has to offer at the moment outside of grinding. PvP updates for this game are lost on me because the combat system is severely lacking anything close to skill and as such offer little excitement for me.

 

 

 

With an upgrading year, I have seen some neat things; better banking, easier to use interfaces, and upgrades to the run system that I have to say is the best thing ever to happen in RS in my opinion. With all of these upgrades to use and nothing to use it with makes for a loss of interest. Now I know that many players are content slaying for hours on end for whatever reason but if you are AFk-ing (something I feel most slayers do) then what interest do you really have in the game?

 

 

 

This update, while being neat, is another one that leaves me wanting. With fewer updates spread further apart and less content per update I feel that this game is loosing something that has made it great for the last 8 years of my life. And looking ahead at things like minstrils, graphical updates... at least I still have mobilising armies to look forward to....

As for the updates, I like 'em all. Dungeon maps are great, even though the more experienced players usually know their geography. Everybody uses a map sometimes don't they? The hitpoints bar is different but not worse, as are the splats. The spam filter is great, no more clutter on my screen while Mining. :thumbsup:

The hp bar looks epic, I cant believe some of you actually liked the ms paint bar they had before.

 

The new 0 hit makes me want to hit more 0's just to see that shield. :P

 

The new hits are a little hard to see, but they look pretty good either way.

 

The new Leprechauns look better then they did before, but some of them have quite odd taste in clothing.

 

 

 

The dungeon maps are awesome, and I didnt even notice the flag got updated untill it was posted here.

 

 

 

Except for the patch notes, I really liked this weeks update.
