The flag when you move around on the map is different. (Jagex=genius btw, they added the maps as different parts) It does look like a shiled, but think about it. You take no damage, you are basicly blocking to attack...hence the shield. I mean the old one was basic, but this looks both generic and cheesy. I feel like I'm playing Mortal Kombat on my SNES with this crap. You kill Jagex in your sig, you say you're retired, yet your whining that the update is lame and not worthy of your approval. If you want to do something about the quality of the updates you have to stop paying a company money to disappoint you. I have stopped paying them. My membership runs out in 8 days, and I'm not renewing. And I'm semi-retired. Plus, even if I didn't play, I can log in and tell you a terrible update when I see it. All )'s are represented by shields Yeah :| But if you mis-hit, it should really be a splash as the opponent is not blocking. Meh, I guess its OK.
