warren211
I'd love to receive the conveniences of multi-tasking on runescape in all aspects of combat. But it's not a major necesity right now and I can wait a while for it to come if it means sorting out all the kinks that could screw up all of Runescape. I'm very glad to see that Jagex is continuing to work hard 24/7 at replacing old parts of the engine to make the game running smoothly. They won't end up as update-happy kids who spout new expansions without seeing if they flow well with the old coding. Great job Jagex! =D> [hide=]tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :( :lol:But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities. That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.[/hide]Apparently a lot of people say it. magzar
Damn, no more switching weapons and continuing to attack tormented demons. Damn it all to hell. That was a useful change. [hide]Damnit, I tripped over Magzar's half inflated blow-up doll and hurt myself. I wish he wouldn't leave that thing lying around. -.-[/hide]
strilmus
All in all, I think we should pay attention whenever a fundamental part of the game code gets altered. :D
AceSpitball
Yeah, I was sort of joking. Sort of. Seriously, fletching is boring, and woodcutting is boring, but doing both? My gameplay just went from repetitive clicking to dynamic process and drop action. I felt like Henry Ford just gave me a kick in the pants. How the hell would they ban anybody? I'm sure every single person in Gielinor was doing it! HAH And I agree. It was pretty cool wcing and fletching at the same time. Good post, carl. SportsGuy
Some of the weirdest stuff changed, like it seems more difficult to open some banks "on the run" and plotting out your running is just awful. I think they need to reimplement the old stuff and think a little more about how to keep some of the stuff the same. They were making things that were stupidly inconvenient easier and less repetitive and now it seems like they're saying it was all unintentional and that now with the new system, it's somehow better? Don't we, the gamers, determine that for ourselves? There's a fine line between giving us challenging content and giving us what we what. I think I'd rather save on carpal tunnel syndrome treatments than deal with the game the way "Jagex intended", as it were.... Sir_Squab
Actually, it is Jagex's game, you only decide if you like it or not. The Gower brothers and people at Jagex HQ decide what goes in and out of the game, and balance that with making sure they get memberships. And I can fairly safely say that there won't be many people quitting because they're annoyed that Jagex removed the bug that allowed them to get easy exp in certain skills... If you don't like mindless clicking, why do I see so many firemaking/fletching/cooking capes... Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. Kimberly
Very "Andrew" like. Defending his baby with all the fervor of a programmer  To be honest, they've mentioned how complex Runescape has grown before--heck, it might've even been Andrew himself who said it--but I had no idea they didn't have a strict standard yet in terms of coding. I'm actually quite pleased they're doing this. The less clunky the code is, the better it'll be for everyone :)
