Mercifull Posted June 19, 2009 Share Posted June 19, 2009 lamp > 1 blue charm 2 or more blue charms > lamp 1 x blue charm is only worth taking up to level 78 summoning 2 x blue charms gives a maximum of 1566.4 exp so its always best to take the blue charms (for exp) given this scenario even if the alternative is a book of knowledge. However you have to factor in the cost of that exp when making your decision. Making two geyser titans requires 444 shards which would cost 11,100 gp and two water talismans 6,660 gp plus two blank pouches for a total of 17,762 gp for 1566.4 exp. Sometimes people might see the worth in taking the lamp and getting the exp for free. I get 930 exp for a lamp so by taking this I "lose" 636.4 exp but I save myself almost 18k gp. p.s I thought the rewards were supposed to get better the more you complete? I'm still getting the same old stuff (gold charms, few crappy herbs etc) over and over. Perhaps if I got 3 or even 4 blue charms as an option it would sway me away from the lamps more often. I rarely get anything good, but because you never know, it makes it more fun to find out.
