Ok everyone think back to your early days on Runescape. What was the most bonehead thing you ever did?

 

 

 

I don't remember why but I had to find bear meat for a quest or something, but I wasn't really paying attention the text. I thought I was looking for BOAR meat, which doesn't exist (in Runescape). So like a fool I went looking for boar... I ran all over the game, searched on all the help sites, and then began begging "anyone know where I can find boar meat?" For like 2 days, before someone at the East Varrock Mine told me to wait there while he killed a bear and gave me the meat. I felt soooo silly, I thanked him and luckily my knight in shining armor just said your welcome and retuned to mining.

 

 

 

This is just one of my many bonehead moments, I'll post more as I think of them.

My bonehead moment was when I couldnt find the beads for imp catchers quest. That was along time ago when I first started playing runescape though.

I got scammed out of a level 21 account. The guy who got it never used it. :(

You know the farm south of Falador? You know the chicken area? Well I spent a couple weeks stuck in there until I figured out how to turn the camera so I could see the door to open it and escape. This was before home teleport, so not as boneheaded as it would be nowadays, but...

I think my only bonehead moment was when I tried to use shears to trim armour :wall: .

:lol: Ahahaha 'trim' armor.... I think you'd need something a little more heavy duty to get any chucks outta your armor.

Spending 10 minutes getting ready to kill iron dragons. Drinking antifire pot, and then running into kill some. I soon realized its very difficult to kill dragons without an antidragonfire shield. Even when caring 5-10 mil worth of items, weapons, and armor...

Back in the old days I managed to get 10k, so someone sold me a Bronze med helm, bronze plateskirt, a bronze chainbody, a bronze sq shield and a short sword! I was so happy with this new armour until I realised I could've bought full black with that 10k :wall:

i wanted a amulet of magic so i sat in faldor asking people to make me one, some one then said ok, took my saphire, gold ammy and 5 runes and just left.

Trusting a friend I'd known for a while not to scam my ZGS. :wall:

If it makes you feel better I sold my full black for 2.5k before I found out its true value :cry: . It had been a gift from someone I had met on my first day in runescape.

Was selling my full black T, gift from a friend.

 

 

 

Wow 200k, wow gold bars, wow... shearers... just accept already.

 

 

 

I ended up with gold bars, shearers, and 204 gold.

I can't think of anything right now, I'll try to post something funny when I think of it.

I walked into Draynor Manor and got stuck there for a week before I finally found the exit.

On my very first account I didn't know how to train anything other than attack so I ended up with 26 attack and quit :lol:

Draynor Manor was absolutely terrible.

 

 

 

Did they change the layout? Because I remember that place feeling near-impossible to get out of, but now it's pretty simple. Maybe I was just a newb at the time.

I thought that Defence was trained by getting hit, not by doing the damage, so I wasted a lot of food and armour in an attempt to train my level 1 defence.....It took a level 4 (I was around level 10-15) to tell me how to train defence :wall:

upto like 40 combat.. I thought that was how hitpoints was trained XD

I tried to level up Herblore by eating cabbage because the icon for it looked like one :lol:

How do I train strenght? Carry a bunch of heavy stuff and run around with it.. I ALWAYS had heavy stuff with me, every where I went. :lol:

Got a zamorak page from a clue in like... 2005? Sold it to some guy for 20k thinking I was getting a steal, and then found out they were worth more at the time. :lol:

 

 

 

Could've been a noob with 100k instead of a noob with 20k. :cry:

the

where i trust the host by giving him the most amount of items than the others. i gave him my addy kite (g) and my full rune so i can win 200k. after that, he teleported. >.> he had a scamming friend who competed with me.

Appeared in Lumby as a lvl 3 and I was desperately pressing the arrows to try and move. Stuck there for 15 minutes.
