Highest note ever musically sung in a song?

I watched the MTV 2005 Awards with the remix of "We Belong Together" sung by Mariah Carey.

The note she hit at the end has to be close to, if not the highest note i've ever heard sung in a song on pitch.

What other songs have artists hit incredibly high notes?

Some operatic singers can hit crazy high notes, but as far as the type of music i listen to goes, i'd say Matt Bellamy from Muse can hit some pretty high pitched notes.

Kirk and Lars I could handle. At the same time.

:? Well notes in singing are still related to notes that are played on an insturment. The highest note that is playable on an insturment is the highest that can be sung, but if anyone can reach that i dont know. Ive seen the highest that a trumpet can get up to in the book, but ive never heard it played, and it is imposible for me to play, cause the note im trying to play is considered intermediate, yet its uber high already!

Pretty much any song, but there's one on their live album where he sings really high... I think it's Micro Cuts.

If you wanna hear Matt Bellamy go mad then get Hullaballo. Cant think of any song names off heart that are particularly high but its an amazing album.

Chris Martin. :P

Nah he just sings notes higher than he should be :P

I think those operatic singers that break wine glasses are pretty much up there, i'd also be interested to know what the lowest note ever sung is. Probably Barry White or something. 8)

I think the highest note sung on my playlist is in the solo version of the song Trois Verges by Epica, during the part '...odium became your opium...' (The original version of the song was a duet between Simone Simmons and the singer of Kamelot, but on the album The Score there's a version in which Simone sings both parts.

Adam Lopez breaks the record for the highest note ever sung.

He's actually got a pretty low voice to

Thats for a male though.

Have you listened to the interview? It's not just for men.
